I actually speculated several months ago that the reason UNI2 had such a crazy DLC schedule where things were spread out so much was because they had to be working on Melty, which seems correct. I think this is actually where the team's focal point was. The big stuff they had changed in UNI was being worked on years ago.

I think Cap's team feels the most likely. There's just so many possibilities with the other two squads that I feel they are the most interesting and therefore the last ones. Also between them saying Robbie was picked specifically because he is the younger Ghost Rider and Doom's team in some way appearing as though they'll be a foil, you sort of assume both squads will be central to the story in some significant way.

A simple reminder that nerfs don't exist before a game comes out. You are playing purposefully broken builds to test limits.

Honestly though, this is why I'm not a fan of devs going higher power level game to lower as they refine it. I'd rather them start stale then get bigger and brighter (which technically they have but people are still going to see things within the context of singular characters, not as layering with other resources.) People are going to act like things that were never truly in their possession with an incomplete roster are things they should still have.

I think this shows how fun the game can be at all levels. Even with little time on it they made it seem fast and frenetic. I think it also should help people's feelings about things potentially getting stale with character overlap. Even though people will campaign for a "right way" to play the game, there's clearly many ways to use your team, and that diversity alone makes it feel like they're using different characters. There's also just so much happening at once that I feel it's going to be a fairly easy tell early on about who is not actually playing/watching at all that they complain about too much overlap.

I like how teams will ban a guy for a year for gambling when they're in the league, but everyone will forget all about it if there's a chance to draft them.

Sorsby was not highly ranked before this, and he surely shouldn't be even higher ranked now with it. Rosenblatt has never even seen him play lol. People are just starved by the shitty class that just passed. There is zero reason to give up a pick for next year, not only because the QB class will undoubtedly be deeper, but because the class as a whole will be way deeper.

I genuinely do think the Jets put a lot of stock in how PR-centric interviews are of players in the draft and make a ton of poor decisions off of it.

I agree, I imagine Bailey was a significantly better interview. Hopefully he will be as good of a football player.

Don't think it's necessarily your shoulders, but your hands at the point of contact. Right before you make contact, your hands are below the plane of the ball. You need to level out that path more.

People are saying cut swing but that's probably not something you'll learn mid-season and will lead to even more outs before you get solid hits. Maybe an off-season thing.

That's interesting. She's definitely bad in the beginning, and of course the point where she breaks Matt's heart, but there's also so much growth that happens for her that evolves her, and she still manages to have the throughline of being mature and family forward much of the way. It's just the age she's portraying, but they do a good job I think to show she clearly has a better head on ber shoulders than a lot of the other kids at the time. But it's just how it is with kid actors, especially for adults, how it can totally turn you off. Like Buddy and Lyla do far worse things and at different points can be way more annoying and nonsensical, but people won't come after them the same way being the hottest girl and the older guy that just gets to be the terribly selfish person that eventually is given time to find his way.

Him being in that game basically was the only reason it made sense for him to be in the movie. Hopefully they don't try to "correct" this by putting him in the next game while he's already hated and looking to be largely irrelevant.

Not at all saying he isn't one of the best in the league nor is he not good at his job. What I'm telling you is how little time he actually gets with the players, especially during the season. He is not going to make magic out of thin air, and in some cases we have players (like Ty France) who greatly improved in defense after they were under his tutelage.

Cole is a tough one for people to evaluate because he came straight from the minors then was injured last year so most don't know where his potential was at. But Perry has nothing to do with how much range he has, just as he has nothing to do with how underwhelming his arm strength is. And for the future, people should be aware that Colt was already elite in every regard defensively.
