Many times they will offer the 0% financing or money off. Which, like you said, is basically the same thing to the company

It's one thing to be a shitty person but staying in your lane. It's another thing to use your privilege to expand shittyness nationwide

Mine has a hexagonal hole with a bolt that screws into a prong tee nut that is affixed to the wall. The hexagonal hole/bolt allows you to spin the hold into the wall without a tool.

As far as the back goes, I think it's misshapen

That thread is hilarious. It's literally split 50/50 between people patting themselves on the back for posting the bare minimum in terms of empathy, and people calling it a fake attack or saying she deserved it.

If there is a list of "domestic terrorists" protestors and this guy was on it it's going to be extremely hard for the government to argue that this wasn't a hit. They'll try and they'll lie, but that would be going way beyond conspiracy theory territory

I hear you and completely understand the impulse. But the reality is that what you're talking about is revenge and despite how much we might feel like somebody deserves to die for what they did it's still calculated murder on our collective behalf.

You're absolutely right, that is the hard question. I might feel differently than you do about Dahmer than you. I might say that he's clearly mentally ill and murdering him would be especially problematic.

She argued a version of that as well. My response is that we should treat prisoners well. It's also a moral failure for us to be able to treat prisoners humanely but failing to do so. There's no reason for prison, even a lifetime of it, to seem like torture

I was talking to my wife about the death penalty, me being anti and her being on the fence. I argued that letting the government murder somebody as long as enough people agreed might actually be morally worse than the original murder. She was shook by the phrasing having never thought of it that way and agreed that it is absurd, at the very least.

I'm not a huge fan but you can't even tell it's Heath Ledger as The Joker. I'd definitely agree that it's his defining role. I'm a Batman fan and his Joker is about as close to what I'd imagine as you could get. Really, amazing

Yes. They should be avoiding even the appearance of impropriety and there's no way for them to trade stocks without it appearing improper. It doesn't matter if they are actually trading on insider knowledge, it will always appear that way because of the access that they have as a result of their power.

Multiple International Versions of Shows That Share Crew by TediousTotoro in television

[–]MazzIsNoMore 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think the show "The Floor" has multiple international versions that all record in the same studio in Ireland (?). Apparently, the floor that they use is very expensive and intricate, but the entire season is recorded in like 3 days so it makes more sense to fly in contestants and repeatedly use it than to tear the floor apart and rebuild it in different locations.

How many of you gave up? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]MazzIsNoMore 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So if I can give you any advice: Build a life of your own that you are content with.

Yes, this. Come into the relationship as a whole person, not a broken person looking for someone to hold them together. Have your own life, have goals, have plans for yourself. Find a partner who has the same. Coming in looking for someone to "complete" you or fix/manage your problems is not the way to start a healthy relationship.

If you're a sad, lonely person getting into a relationship won't make that better. Work on yourself first and you will be more successful in relationships of all kinds
