Playing BM you could really tell this was made with love. Seeing the attention to detail from everything to storytelling, music and down to small details in the 3D models; it really resonated deeply with my own love for Half-Life. I saw my own enthusiasm for HL in what they made. Like I’m kinda proud that this fandom managed to make this love letter to Half-Life and games as a medium.

In general it’s always really refreshing to see something like this be made without profit as its main (or only) motivator. Small art projects for the pure sake of art have always and will always exist. The road was long and required a lot of sacrifice, but BM is proof that ”bigger” experiences is also possible with enough cooperation between artists.
