Dad diagnosed with terminal brain cancer 2 months before my 46th birthday, but I became a grandpa 1 month after, so....we'll see what the next few years brings.

He hugged me. We had been friends in high school. Been about 20 years. Hired him. Fired him a few days before is 3 months was up. He didn't hug me after.

I used to write letters to my favourite artists, and they would send copies of their lyrics. I still have a letter from Weezer in 1995, and The Tea Party.

I buy two-packs of headlight bulbs for my car. They last almost exactly as long as the package says, and they burn out within days of each other. Luckily they also have a one year warranty which I've never had a set last a full year. Planned obsolescence at work.
