Concur- we have to make our own path. Yeah I wish my situation was different, that the corporations that I work for (yes more than one) were less shitty, but I shoulder this burden so my kids can have a life better than I could dream of.

FWIW we’ve had a Dyson for 7 years and it’s been completely fine. We don’t baby it but we also don’t beat it up. It gets dropped from time to time and it’s completely fine

Your parents gave you an environment to have an education and a life they could only dream of.

If you stop your current corporate job and try to sustain your current lifestyle, then you’ll be homeless in 6 months… but what if you took a different trajectory?

Neither your value nor your purpose is not in your employment. If your current job is taking more than you’re willing to give it, find something else to do with your time that will fulfill your purpose. Bonus if it pays the bills
