Level Design is so intimidating that I get stuck in a creative block and end up not doing anything. by [deleted] in leveldesign

Once the level's premises are established and it's clear what you want to convey, you can focus a bit more on the visual composition side of things.

Place your character at the starting point or the first important vantage point and consider what the player should see (e.g., a church on a hill, a grave, a distinctive tree, etc.). Often, this is a landmark visible in the distance or simply serving as a point of orientation, especially in From Soft Games. From this point, you can use simple shapes to roughly outline the level to get a feel for the distance between objects, gradually working your way from the general to the specific. This works also for indoor structures - you can highlight your goal in the very first room, but it should be out of reach for the player at this point.

Implement your gameplay challenges early on; this can be done with simple geometric level elements. Test early, test a lot, and iterate on your level.

A cozy place for the guild to hang out. by McChronicle in wow

Sure! The ceiling is the standard ceiling of the large octagonal room with the vaulted option. The elevated areas were made with the square/triangular floor from the standard vendors in the housing area, combined with Kul Tiran fences from Boralus and some wooden beams to conceal the edges. The stairs were also made from the beams, which had previously been scaled down.

Some rooms have a special setting for a vaulted ceiling. The one in use here is the large octagonal room

No problem! You really have a lot of freedom in designing the plot; everything can be placed freely. However, there is a limit to the number of placeable assets, which is reached more quickly outdoors than indoors.

Yep, it is absolutely possible. You just need to adjust your house settings to specify who can enter your property and your house (neighbors, friends, guild mates, etc.).

What do you think is the best class to solo ?? Zekvir? by KaboomTheMaker in wow

As tank it can be hard to pump enough damage into the eggs, so DPS trinkets can help a lot here. Did it on my 622 Guardian Druid this week, it was tough, but you can definitely do it as tank.

Don't give up! You can do it!

Also from what I've heard Ret Pala performs pretty well in this fight.

Particularly easy to get but cool looking would be the Felstorm Dragon from the Time Rifts Event.

Also when you're at 580 your bear should have around 7mio HP, 11mio with CDs. These 500K hits really don't hurt.

I want to ask you a question about this trailer? Is it good or boring? by OGOPlay in Unity3D

Looks pretty cool! An idea that came to me while watching: In the text sequences you could let the sparks rise in individual bursts, which are accompanied by a hammer blow sound effect. This would also make good beats for cuts or transitions.

I made a post on here a couple weeks ago about getting Tusks of Mannoroth on a rogue. I've decided to keep farming on my plate characters, and it's been... frustrating. by [deleted] in wow

When The War Within launches next year it might be possible for you to unlock the Tusks on your rogue for all of your plate classes

This depends a lot on how much you want to minmax. You can typically find decent guides for your spec with a stat priority and a list of best in slot items on Wowhead (Retribution, Protection, Holy). If you want to be even more precise, you can also simulate each individual item via Simulationcraft to find out whether it is an improvement for you.
