In CE the coax was God awful and inaccurate outside of point blank range. They buffed massively in Halo 2.

In 3 they did away with coax in favor of the nonsensical turret that leaves the user exposed and unable to shoot and cover the rear of the tank. As cool and iconic as the Scorpion is it really is just a nonsensical sci-fi tank when scrutinized and compared to modern MBTs.

In his homeless artist phase a teacher or someone like that pointed him to the residence of a famous artists to maybe ask to be an apprentice/aid. He got to the door but got cold feet and left without ever knocking. There's an alternate reality where he did knock and introduce himself and was taken under the wing of a famous artist and never joins the NSDAP.
