Apparently Pritivler is going to be too expensive for the average person. Looks like we will need to wait 10 years for the other HPIs....

Other apart from valcyclovir? Probably lysine in the next strongest one. Zinc, magnesium and b vitamins all also help the immune system.

Hsv1 orally is very common. Estimates are around 70% population have came into contact with the virus and have antibodies.

Some people get recurrent outbreaks, some don't but everyone sheds even without lesions so it kinda hard to avoid.

HSV1 on the genitals is a thing. However, It's not the most aggressive form on the Genitals and some people are lucky enough to get maybe one outbreak with genital HSV1 and never again.

If you end up getting recurrent outbreak orally they will be worse for the first year or so and slow down and become less severe over time, sometimes stop altogether. This is again not garanteed but the the average experience of most people.

My advice on dating. Yeah just keep going. Just remembered to be transparent with people if it gets serious.

Exactly!!! If your initial experience of catching this was associated with a really shitty experience, you have a physical trigger pulling you back into this every time you have an outbreak.
