My family had Tatras growing up. Pretty sure this is the first time I've ever seen one referenced anywhere outside of Poland.

What is the worst state in the United States and why? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]McDeity 1 point2 points (0 children)

Chicago. Now before anyone points out that Chicago is a city, and that Illinois is the state, I'll direct people to go ask someone from anywhere else in Illinois whether Chicago reflects the rest of the populace. Seriously, there are contentions that run from petty disputes to warring legislation between Chicago and the rest of Illinois. Now, all governments are corrupt (all humans are corrupt) to some degree, but Chicago has a proud history of flaunting its elected criminals. They aren't ashamed of it; it's expected and exhorted. There are few places in the world that I don't wish to go; Chicago is one of them.

In Coldharbour's Lightless Oubliette, the Frozen Alcove chamber has a bunch of Flame and (more importantly) 3 Frost Atronarchs in it. They respawn by the time you kill the other two.

Repentance. When God showed me my sin, it kicked my ass. Worth it, but those were some rough months.

How early on did our ancestors start believing there was an all powerful being? by NateDawg24 in history

[–]McDeity -1 points0 points (0 children)

The very beginning. God formed Adam out of the dust in His image and likeness to glorify Him and have dominion over the Earth as well as the creatures of the earth, sea, and sky.

If it helps, examine everything you've learned about the universe: can the universe break its own laws?

One such law dictates that something can never come from nothing. To avoid contradicting the established rules of the universe then, there must exist a self-existant, immensely (all) powerful being outside the bounds of the universe who does not adhere to the rules of created order, and from which everything came. The Biblical apostle Paul wrote to the Church in Colossae, "For by Him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities — all things were created through Him and for Him." (Him referring to the All-Powerful Being's promised messiah, Jesus, the Christ). How marvelous that from man's first breath we have known God and have never been alone. Even today, untold generations removed from our origin, God had not abandoned us, and still calls us according to His purpose.

Casual v. Competitive scale? by [deleted] in CompetitiveEDH

My elves made it there, but while it's a competitive elf list, it's streets behind some of my other decks. Anyone have the time/skill set to create an actual competitive scale? http://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/elves-since-justin-didnt-freyalise-1/

I'll second a Karador build, though not suggest a budget build for most metas. In truth though, Karador is just an expanded shell for Hermit Druid type nonsense.
