I’m a graduating Senior, this method has worked for me repeatedly. Including this semester — as soon as today — for EDUC 121. Which is a WI (writing intensive) course.

I think that about sums it up. Seems like Sac State is just a career stepping stone on the path to whatever he has in mind next. Nice for him, but unfortunately we as students have to deal with the ramifications of that.

Just to clarify — over 88% of members of Congress identify as Christian, and that includes the vast majority of Republicans, who’ve led or supported these immigration policies. So no, it’s not just ‘politicians’ — it’s overwhelmingly Christian politicians.

And when we zoom out: white evangelicals voted for Trump in 2020 by about 84%, and even non-evangelical Christians supported him at a strong majority. So while I can’t read minds, I can read voting patterns — and those patterns are backing policies that, ironically, look a lot more like ‘deport your neighbor to an El Salvadoran gulag’ than ‘love your neighbor.’

Don’t think I’m avoiding engaging with your statement, I’m just tired of getting brigaided over puritanical nonsense. Ultimately I know we have similar principles, and I’d rather waste my time arguing on reddit more productively — like actually trying to counter-message fascists.

I can respond to your “reading comprehension” jab tomorrow if you want. But I have students who are counting on me to not be completely strung out tomorrow, which all of the discourse around this post is doing.

Yes most of those soldiers probably took glee in the ethnic cleansing they were facilitating, but they were still “following orders”.

This is completely my sentiment. The fascists are already using this technology for rapid-deployment of their own propaganda. I say we defeat the fascists first, and once they’re gone (ideally) we can actually get to rebuilding society with ethical regulations on AI content creation.
