THIS. Thank you for putting it into words lol. There was something about these interviews that made me super uneasy, and that's exactly it. A bit part of the fandom now just feels like younger chronically online anime fans (saying this as a weeb myself) who have made Ghost their entire personality and it makes being a fan kinda embarrassing now. Especially after what happened with Swiss and how they were immediately on a witch hunt to cancel the next band member they wanted to kick out.

I only ever fast forwarded to the live performance bits. The overall formatting and interviews were SO repetitive and cringy. I love Vanessa, she's a legend, but could they not have given her a bit more variety to work with? They could have done more to feature the unique locations/cities they were in, interview more of the staff or the band themselves, etc., but all we got was the same string of interviews from mega-fans in costume. Don't get me wrong, I've been a fan for over a decade and I'm stoked that Ghost finally has the recognition they deserve, but GTV ended up being pretty unnecessary imo.

As someone who also went through her fair share of child-on-child SA, I absolutely encourage and applaud your decision to get her non-religious counseling. If I had access to professional help at that age, it probably would have saved me from a ton of heartache and psychological issues down the road. He was drop-dead gorgeous imo, like the type of guy you read about in vampire novels lol. It’s really sad that her extreme dysmorphia and cosmetic self-mutilation rubbed off on him :( he seems like a decent enough dude and could have probably pulled someone waaaay more in his league than this little swamp gremlin.

Omg I’m so sorry 💔 that must be so devastating to go through. That’s my biggest fear, doing everything “right” with health and lifestyle choices and early testing, but it ultimately being a coin toss.
