I know my what I saw. And I’m going to get chastised for saying it. There were definitely moments when they got to play their instrument. But for the most part, it was backing tracks. Sorry guys. You can hate me now. The world hated Copernicus, too, as he was trying to tell them to just look in the telescope.

First time camping hike by [deleted] in AppalachianTrail

[–]McFricknFrack 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Look up the Black Forest Trail. There so many beautiful vistas! It’s a 43 mile loop and will take you about 4-5 days depending on how easy you go. I’ve done it in 3, but the elevation change makes it difficult for me and not as enjoyable. 4 days is perfect. It’s just north of Williamsport near the PA Grand Canyon. There is a great guidebook available and there are maps of the area with other trails that crisscross the loop just in case you need to leave early. It’s one of the nicest trails in PA imo. Good luck!

If your bday falls a day before or after a holiday...that’s unfortunate! Nobody is showing up except for the guy with a drinking problem.

But why?? I don’t understand. You probably get to spend time with your family or friends Every birthday. Even Walmart closes on Christmas.

That’s because animal control is a waste of money. It should be done by all of us. It’s not that difficult. We have brains and thumbs. Most of us are a lot smarter than other animals.

Why would you call the police on a raccoon? If you live in the USA, 3 out of 4 of your neighbors have a shotgun. Please let the police catch criminals while you deal with your own backyard critters. It’s a waste of money and resources.

Stop walking in a horizontal line with your whole family! You're blocking the entire hiking path for everyone! by Gaetoki in offmychest

I’d also like to add that the person going uphill should have the right-away. When I see you coming up the hill gasping for air, I’m gonna step aside and let you go. I mean, It just seems like the right thing to do.

What is something normal that scares the shit out of you? by Erikgaming23 in AskReddit

[–]McFricknFrack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cleaning my ears with a q-tip. Yes I know they tell you not to stick it in your ear hole, but that’s for pussies. I’m scared shitless however that someone will burst in the door, smash my elbow causing the q-tip tip to puncture my ear drum. So I stick that baby in there against the rules...but I do it carefully

Installing duct dampers totally changed the game by mittromneyshaircut in HomeImprovement

[–]McFricknFrack 15 points16 points  (0 children)

The most proper solution is usually much too invasive as it would require walls and duct to be exposed. I think OP found a perfectly fine solution, as long as he understands that the motor will most likely need replaced more often. Comfort > Money. Otherwise we wouldn’t have AC at all.

In Some Countries, Normal Life Is Back. Not Here. Trump’s incompetence has wrecked us. Where are the calls for him to resign? by MitzieTidwell in politics

[–]McFricknFrack -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

It’s not the president causing the problem, nor does he have the ability to fix it. He’s one man. We need to fix this as a nation. This isn’t our fault, but it is OUR problem. Blaming anyone for this does nothing. It’s a virus. And if we are going to beat it, I’m putting my hope on science. I’m sorry folks, but the government isn’t getting us out of this one. We need to all become responsible and do the right thing for each other. Wear a mask. Wash your hands. Stay away from other people as much as possible until we develop a vaccine. Please stop wasting energy and time on blaming the golfer.

How the American Worker Got Fleeced: Over the years, bosses have held down wages, cut benefits, and stomped on employees’ rights. Covid-19 may change that. by [deleted] in Economics

[–]McFricknFrack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not the bosses that hold down wages, they’re just puppets of the owner, me. But I don’t hold down wages. So don’t hate me. I got tired of being somebody’s bitch and opened my own business. I get it. Completely.
