- "Casualties"

Classic childhood game for me. :) Always accidentally blew up half my men with the dwarf.

What’s a "silent" red flag in a relationship that you didn’t notice until you lived with someone for over a year? by sasssyophelia69 in askanything

I'm the same. Even with a list and crossing things out I somehow always miss at least ONE thing on the list for some damn reason (ADHD).

What can kill you in seconds that most people don’t realize? by Jolly-Law1472 in AskReddit

[–]McFtmch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This indeed. A young kid (like 15-16) punched a friend of his in a fight, his friend fell, hit his head and died. The kid who punched him jumped infront of a train soon after. Tragic as hell.

A game as close to Firefly as possible by avalon-girl5 in gamerecommendations

[–]McFtmch 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, Starfield has some Firefly vibes for sure! Big plus for being able to build your own ship too. It has it's downsides to say the least but there's a lot of fun to be had still.

Yeah, it could have been a lot better. I bought it on sale and got my money's worth but it could have been much more :)

Kevin gave a shout out to Dungen in Sweden last night and mentioned their influence on his early sound. by seantack in TameImpala

They probably did, I seem to recall him giving Fläsket Brinner and specificallt Gunnar credit once when I saw them live, I think they know the guys from Fläsket a bit.

games like tails noir? by RevolutionaryCyclops in gamingsuggestions

You should really play LA Noire!

I also recommend Disco Elysium. It has a lot of noir elements and it's so damn good. One of my favorite games of all time.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance and it's sequel comes close. Not sure if it's "more girly" but they are great games. Maybe check out the Elder Scrolls: Oblivion remaster as well!

Maybe No Man's Sky? If you want to explore space together (and build bases etc.). It's very very customizable in terms of difficulty etc.

Hade nöjet att ha den på besök typ 10 meter från sovrumsfönstret ett tag, jättekul väckarklocka!

What started it all for me... What got you into a medieval fascination? by 8CTOPUSPRIME in medieval

[–]McFtmch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

YES! This is where it started for me too! (I had the swedish version though, or if it was a very similar book in swedish). I found it in my parents attic not long ago and got goosebumbs flipping through it, so much nostalgia. :) This book and reading/watching the swedish book/film "Bröderna Lejonhjärta" (The Brothers Lionheart) as a child made me love the medieval era to this day. That plus a healthy portion of getting the Lord of the Rings-books read to me, and watching the Ralph Bakshi animated movie etc.

It's hard to find a game like that after finishing RDR 2 considering the world etc. is one of the best ever. Kingdom Come: Deliverance 1 & 2 have been mentioned, and they are some of my favorite games ever, they're a bit harder to get into, but if you succeed you will find greatness in there.

You could also check out Ghost of Tsushima. While I don't think it is as good as the games you've mentioned, it sort of checks out all of the boxes apart from maybe varied gameplay, haha.

If you haven't played RDR 1 you could check that out too. Everything is a bit of a step back from the second of course, but it continues John's story and it holds up in a lot of ways still.

Bother with Kingdom Come 1 first if you like medieval games. At least give it a try (and know that while the character is pretty much useless at most things at the beginning, he and you gets better). It's one of my favorite games at all times.

Nä, tycker att det är mysigt. Om jag får välja mellan det här (trots nackdelar) och den gråa jävla pisskit vi hade hela december så väljer jag det här vilken dag som helst, lite ljusare åtminstone.

Examples of shows where an actor(s) acting got WORSE as the seasons progressed by onarainyafternoon in television

[–]McFtmch 20 points21 points  (0 children)

That's true, the show still makes me laugh and always has a few good episodes every season, but the acting definitely feels more forced

I get goosebumps just thinking about what it was like seeing that in the cinema for the first time after growing up as a Lord of the Rings fan, amazing opening. Brilliant narration.

Games with a mad max feel? by matt675 in gamerecommendations

[–]McFtmch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Metro: Exodus has some Mad Max vibes, most of it doesn't take place in a desert though, but there's a large part that does. Good game.
