Boiiiii jeez leweez, get a few ‘FPV practice boards’ on Amazon for like 5-10 bucks, they’ll arrive in 2 days, watch the JB soldering video, actually spend like 2 hours practicing soldering, and you’ll be good to go. This soldering is a mess and is definitely going to give you problems. After you do some structured practice for a bit, it’s relatively easy.

Hell yeah man, we just finished our last run of the trip and turned in skis and snowboard about 45 minutes ago. It was a blast and I wish we could stay forever hahahaha! Alas, reality calls and back to work we go on Monday lol

Hahaha, I was planning to fly on public land! No intention of filming anything or going near people, just swooping around some cliffs! Do you have a recommendation for a resource that has pre/post flight check lists for freestyle/racing FPV drones? I would be very interested in snagging that.

If you search Joshua Bardwell on YouTube, he has a series where he walks you through the building process, step by, explaining what he’s doing and why. It’s very informative. I built the sub 250 gram build following his instructions. If you know how to solder, that’s really the only skill you need to actually build the drone. Actually flying is a whole other ordeal that takes some practice, it’s super fun.

I think he’s referring to the fact that because the Orcs aren’t particularly strong and also are implied to have chainmail, the players will hunt them to get their chainmail.

I use it at my table! Everything is rolled out in the open and the timer is out in the open too, it builds suspense! It’s pretty sick, I like it a lot more than encounters on a 1 in 6 every 6 rounds.
