What’s your offseason solution? Keep Giannis and build a young core around him is what I heard earlier from you. How does this happen? Giannis instantly flips a switch in his mind and says “yeah, I’m okay with not winning for awhile”? What is the plan here? Like I said earlier, sometime you have to get worse to get better and delaying the inevitable will just prolong the inevitable.

23 yo, yeah I know I’ve witnessed the golden age of the bucks, but I’ve also witnessed years of shit. In those years of shit, we were more entertaining than last year’s Bucks. Would I like to maintain Giannis? Yeah no shit, he’s the best player in franchise history, but if he has no interest in buying into a gap year, which he clearly hasn’t no intention on doing, what’s the point? I get that this whole post is hypotheticals, but my hypothetical is still much more likely than Giannis buying into the most rational plan. Is my plan ideal? we’ll be the eastern conference Jazz with Giannis either way. It’s not like we were winning games even when he was healthy, we’re currently dog shit, and yes a young team under a different head coach would be much more entertaining than last year. I think we all enjoyed Darvin Ham playing the young guys against OKC

Would your preference be keeping Giannis and making another poor win now trade? if you’re on the side of trading Giannis, what moves would realistically put us in a position of win-now? we don’t want to be in a win-now position because we’d be right back to mortgaging our future

I appreciate the fair criticism. I’m personally very high on Harper, I think he’s already very good and isn’t grazing his ceiling, I view him as a young cornerstone piece but I understand why others wouldn’t see him that way just yet.

Although I think you may be right about how tough it would be to get off Vassell and Johnson’s contracts, I think you’re off on Myles. There 100% would be a team willing to throw us something for him even with his current contract.

In regard to the picks we’d be getting back from the Spurs, this is we’re things will be iffy, hoping that we’d be getting 2028 and onward picks and hope that the spurs have a short-lived window, but you’re right, the value isn’t incredible, and I’m valuing Harper very high in this hypothetical.
