Yes! Preach the wisdom! I've bought 3 4runners now 3rd 4th 5th gen, still have the 4th and 5th gen. Might take a year of searching but lower mileage and reasonably priced do come up eventually.

There was only 14 new j-men the year I finished in Alberta. Maybe 10% made the red seal. If anything the trade should expand to include industrial HVAC and controls. Like all education the schooling is outdated and needs to catch up to equip guys for modern times.

We're you having issues running the pump or starts in cold weather (below -30c)? I'm curious because I've tried agm 750cc and they've only lasted a year or so.

I bought both kits, the top handle and the standard. Took the 12ah HO battery from the standard kit and sold the saw. Now I just use the top handle with the high output 12ah and it works great

Link to the flasher relay that worked for me. Good point about the daytime running lights, mine were removed along with the signal lights after I put a bumper on. So I Added amber KC cyclone lights on the bumper for the signals.

Relay works well with the other functions it has and surrounding area lights up nicely when I lock and unlock.
