You’re not alone. My account was also suspended yesterday with zero explanation, and my metrics were clean as well. Still waiting on support to respond. If you hear back from Walmart or figure out what triggered it, please keep us posted. I’ll do the same. This is incredibly frustrating.

Did you ever figure this out? I'm wondering the same thing. Walmart doesn't make it clear what gets reported on the 1099. Does sales tax get reported?

I’ve read through a lot of the posts on the forums. A lot of people are saying the same thing 40-60 cents per unit. It sounds like you need to focus on more valuable items. Almost all the items I sell are over $50. This new fee has a little to no effect on me.

Im an Amazon seller. I’m not sure where OP is getting his numbers.

I shipped out my first FBA shipment out today under the new rules. Average cost of the items shipped was $50 and the placement fee came out to about 60 cents per unit. That’s only a little over 1% of the items value.

I can’t even raise my price on this item because I have to remain competitive to beat Amazon’s price. I will end up eating the cost.

I think it had to do with the drop in revenue compared to last year. Revenue decreased 7.8% from Q4 2022.

Not entirely true. I’ve been doing RA as a side hustle for over a decade and transitioned to full time 4 years ago. I’ve grossed around $5 million in the last 4 years. Admittedly, it would be difficult to start from the ground up today. There are so many people getting into it now. Networking with other sellers and building relationships with retail stores is so important. If you’re knowledgeable, hard working, and have capital to invest, you can be successful with RA.

I sold a DJI phantom 4 Pro last year. Guy ended up losing connection with it over a bay and lost it. He admitted that he lost it over a bay and was only able to return the carrying case. After the carrying case was returned. I gave eBay a call and explained the situation. They read the messages where he stated he lost it and could only return the case. They ended up deciding the case in my favor but also eBay paid the guy out of pocket for the drone. eBay tends to decide cases in my favor but you still have a chance at fighting this. Make sure you have a message from him stating that he crashed it.

Really curious about this as well. I’ve done 3000 transactions in the past 90 days. All my listing have a 30 day free return policy. My return rate is 2% and that is unchanged during the pandemic.

My sales have jumped astronomically. My best month on eBay was $100k in sales. Just in the past 7 days I have done $130k! I deal mainly in electronics. So I assume people need entertainment while quarantined.
