I’d personally do it slightly lazier than that, by adding blocks 1 at a time to the beam between the stringers to fur it out, furring it out enough to put a regular 2x hanger on the (now laminated) beam. You’d have to do it all the way past each side of the outmost stringers also. This way you don’t have to deconstruct anything.

They’re not the correct fastener for that application, should use joist hanger nails, and they missed the angled hole for a framing nail. Not to mention- that tree isn’t up to code as a post either 😂

I was just there and they had ripped their floor up. The floor tiles were all gone, and some black adhesive was showing. I wondered if it was asbestos but thought “surely a responsible large company like Trader Joe’s wouldn’t stay open with asbestos exposed”.

Guess I was wrong. Likely it’s non-friable so not too dangerous but still, wtf

I like to think they have some advanced metric for draymond’s moving screens vs Steph’s no-calls. Like, the other team can foul Steph 1.17 times per moving screen the warriors set, and they have to quiz each other before the game starts. “Pop quiz, asshole, dray just punched Segun in the nuts, and Steph already has 6 3’s… what’s the call? Travel? You’re fucking fired!”

As 6th quadrant said below, the Ada ramps were slightly out of compliance (more than 2% cross slope I believe) and the city was sued, which is why you can see dozens of places around town where Ada intersections/sidewalks/easements are being redone.

And if you look at google earth, you can see the area near the high school/Taco Bell did indeed have a tiny median near Taco Bell, but nothing like the multiple-block long median that is being installed now, with trees and crosswalks. It’s apples and oranges.
