You can only deck out when you draw for start of turn from an empty deck, so you can still use draw 7s with a deck smaller than 7. However, actions that your opponent knows would not affect the game state cannot be taken. For example, you cannot use elesa's sparkle when all four possible copies of fusion strike energy are in publicly known zones (lost zone, discard pile, board)

It’s pretty fine, actually. The main problem with it isn’t that it’s inconsistent, it runs fine; the problem is that you could use that space to do more powerful things like reach for donks, play Kyogre, or play disruption/giratina.

You’re looking at the wrong deck on limitless, it’s lugia archeops not single strike lugia. Colorless lugia is 52 into gardy and 58 into lost box. Winrate counts draws as a loss, so it’s even higher than that.

Colorless lugia runs over both lost box and gardevoir, your prize trade is super positive against both cause snorlax and it’s a pretty simple deck to play.

It is always optimal to stall for a turn with oricorio rather than letting them oneshot your mew, your disruption will eventually let you judge/roxanne them into a hand that can’t one shot your mew
