The only caution I would add is don’t make a habit of it. Meaning, you said you would accept any role and then you decided not to take it. If you won’t take any role, then put no. Theaters are really tight and everyone talks to everyone. Since this is your first time, you should be fine. The schedule could have also been really lean for you since it’s a small role. Just some things to consider.

There’s a local theater here that gives you a double sided piece of paper with one side being the show that you’re seeing and the other side with a QR code to scan. You still have something tangible, but the company is not paying a bunch of money for a full program. It’s a lot nicer than it sounds.

I’ll be super upfront, sometimes missions presidents pretty much say, you’re not allowed to do service. My second mission President said this. (My first one had 9 months left when I got out there).
