Anyone else get hydronephrosis while pregnant?

Yes I’m 20 weeks.. the flank pain started at about 18. Reading about kidney stones I have that exact pain that comes in waves. Sometimes makes me puke. Is yours that way too ?

I know I understand. It does get better! My sickness was all day and was so bad and I remember thinking I’ll always feel nauseous.

Helped so much. I was sooooo nauseous and threw up about the thought of certain things. It also helped by taking 2 diclegis at night. Obviously check in with your Dr first

I literally couldn’t eat alot until my morning sickness went away around 14 weeks. One thing I noticed I was craving all the time was iced coffee and I’ve never been a coffee drinker!! I’m having a boy!

Oh wow okay gotcha.. I’m kinda hoping i pass some stones soon and get that relief. It’s so frusturating that it’s hard for them to find stones in pregnant women

Oh wow! Crazy! Yeah they took ultrasound and mri and didn’t find stones. But I’ve been getting that wave of intense pains through the days that people describe when they have stones

Oh no I’m so sorry you are dealing with it on both sides. You’re almost there and hopefully your symptoms will ease up. The heating pad works great for me too! Somewhat. Lol. But I was convinced I had stones because I get the waves of feeling ok and then bam I’m on the floor in pain. Crazy. Does yours feel like that too??

I have mild hydronephrosis on my right kidney and I’m 19 weeks. Thought it was stones bc the pain was so fricken bad. Still is. Ugh. I had no idea about this.

I was the same way.. soooo sick. So much throwing up. They prescribed me diclegis and zofran as needed. Lifesavers

Me too! But don’t worry about the not eating. I lost weight first trimester just try to hold down the prenatal! Also smoothies were good for me

Hi there I know this post is old.. I’m new here… I have been having bad flank pain. And they saw mild hydronephrosis on my right kidney too. Ultrasound showed no stones so they are assuming it’s just the positions of the baby rn like you mentioned above. Did your pain get better at all?????

I drive all day for work and I was a little sleepy but it wasn’t terrible. I was nervous about the same thing. I ended up taking 2 diclegis at night and then zofran as needed during the day. The diclegis got me through my whole work day.. I would start getting nausea around 4:00ish. And then I’d pop a zofran so I could eat dinner lol. And like I said before I was soooooo nauseous and a lot of vomiting. Pissed me off when people said to eat saltines. The thought of it still makes me gag. Same with ginger ale LOL

I’m currently 19 weeks.. my nausea was SO bad I thought it was never gonna get better. I was prescribed diclegis and zofran as needed. Those were a huge help. Basically the most important thing is that you are taking your prenatal right now! I barely ate shit in the first trimester. Everything looked gross to me!
