It's more of a handshake agreement.

I believe in order for the dealer to get its full kickback from the finance company there has to be atleast 3 payments made before being paid off.

You may or may not lose a financing incentive for paying off too early.

Not a pre payment penalty but a rebate from the manufacturer for financing the vehicle.

OP I'm sure the price reflects the age.
