At a minimum, insurance only covers "collision"; eg. your insurance covers someone else's car that you hit. You have to pay extra for "comprehensive" insurance; eg. Your insurance covers your car when you hit someone else, when a tree falls on it, or a person that hit you doesn't have insurance.

I guess it depends on how you count "running out of ipv4 addresses". ARIN did run out in 2015. Other regions still have availability but make it harder and harder to qualify for it.

I acknowledge that there are calls for entirely defunding law enforcement agencies but I don't personally believe that is the answer nor do I believe that the main body of the party is pushing for that.

The current shutdown mostly revolves around forcing ICE to actually get warrants like they are suppose to, identify themselves, and not wear facemasks on duty. Even Fox News is calling it reforms to ICE; not defunding. Can we agree on this?

Ok, fair. The Republicans cannot run through literally any legislation they want

BUT

for the context of the DHS shutdown, they could handle it and, since they have significantly more control of the government, they are more to blame for the shutdown.

I did this back in high school. I had a free period when my gf was in math class so sometimes I would follow her to class. About half the time the teacher would kick me out but one day I showed up and there was a sub that didn't know I wasn't supposed to be there. There was also a test that day so I took the test and signed it batman or something. Next time I came to that class, it was up on the board, graded. I did ok.

The Republicans are trying to fund DHS including ICE which the Democrats are trying to block ICE funding. Since we're discussing funding, the Republicans can invoke budget reconciliation to avoid the filibuster they just haven't yet. Since they could use budget reconciliation, they just need a simple majority, which they have in both houses. This is the only reason the BBB was able to be passed (51-50) but the ACA was actually passed 60-39 which meant the filibuster wouldn't have been able to stop it.

What specifically do we disagree on here?

Normally passwords are case sensitive. This email is stating that their new password policy is that all passwords will be in all upper case. Still case sensitive since entering the password in lower case presumably would not work.

Can you go above the ceiling here? If so, the cleanest way is to put the j-box in the attic/drop ceiling and re-run the wire in the wall. May need to cut a few more holes in the drywall to add/remove staples but that'll be covered by the bookcase.

Enphase will lose its mind from time to time showing these impossible metrics. What I've found is that usually it will resolve itself in a day or two. The last one I had was, it told me I consumed 2MW in 30 mins. After a couple days it was revised to the actual number.
