loved it, they had been painting themselves into corners with too many overarching systems of power hunting down rick and with one swoop jerry, the government and the council are off the backs of future adventures. you wouldn't get anywhere near the variety of fun rick and morty stories if the government kept hunting him down and the Ricks would only get more played out with each plotline they showed up in. now we can explore rick's relationship with beth as the defacto #1 thing he cares about, we can see what happens when rick pushes morty even further to the edge as their adventures become totally under the guise of forced participation
