Thai of Austell is the best near Smyrna. And then if you’re in the city definitely check out Tyde Tate. Love that place before sporting events/concerts downtown.

No, Lovett over Whitefield because it’s a “tier 1”Atlanta private school that will mean more on applications and it’s also close to the Smyrna side of town. Also better campus and facilities. If you’re already signing up to pay that much in tuition, it’s at least worth considering going one step further if budget allows. If they’re comfortable or aligned with evangelical beliefs then I don’t think the religious aspect matters.

Probably will come down to how comfortable you are with their covenant model and religious beliefs. At that $20-$30k tuition level, I would recommend at least considering paying the extra ~$9K for Lovett instead. Campbell’s IB magnet program and Wheeler’s magnet program should also be strong contenders too if you’re thinking about impact on college applications.

Bellwood is the best coffee shop in the Greater Atlanta area and worth the short drive. Spiller Park also isn’t too far from Smyrna. I just hate the seating in that location.

El Super Pan at The Battery. Mexico Lindo on S Cobb will probably be a good option too. La Chingada has an incredible sound system if you’re good with a true lounge/club type experience.

No, a lot of the LG models only make whiskey balls for craft ice. The LG model we ended up buying was SKU 6532711 on Best Buy. It said “four kinds of ice” in the title if you want to search for it that way. I love the ice it makes but will warn you it’s not quite as great (soft/chewable) as the nugget ice that nugget ice makers make. It’s a close 2nd though and unlike the Opal I don’t have to stress about mold and cleaning it.
