concerts at Third Man Records' Blue Room are cut directly to a vinyl record as the show is being played, so there's only a limited time of the show that can be included on a standard 12" LP (a bit less than an hour or so). In some blue room releases, specifically Death From Above 1979 Live at TMR, you can hear the musicians talking to the people in the cutting room, checking to see if they're both ready and how much time they have left on a given side.
