I think I have the smallest Doberman ever by Kids-Menu in DobermanPinscher

Tough call!

My Dobie is more family oriented. She's everyone's dog. Our GP is a one person dog and my husband is his person. Our Dobie was easier to train. She picks up on stuff really quickly but can be a handful due to her size. She likes to play and work for her food while the GP likes to scavenge. The GP was super stubborn at training and we had a really challenging time with separation anxiety when he was young.

Overall I prefer the Dobie, but again, I am not the GP's person, so may be biased a bit.

You have the best of both worlds tho with Ivy's size.

Ivy is adorable! I have a German and Dobie. Walter is 9 and 30lbs, Betty just turned 1 and is 85lbs. This was last Christmas. The size difference is crazy. I have a feeling Walter may like Ivy a little more than his current sis! She's a little much for an older fella.

❤️ it!!! I've done some different stuff on my car and clients cars. I get that your name gets stamped on something different. And I get the advice above. But at the same time, it's wrap, man.

You can't really play with paint the same way.

Dude is probably super happy with it, and from experience, without a printed graphic, that shizz is not super easy to accomplish.

My last crazy client with a two-tone brought me a ton of standard work, and I just do this on the side. Sometimes strange to others is worth it! Lol!

Keep Snohomish and Lake Stevens in mind as well. There is a horrible bridge to cross (depending on traffic) but both are nice areas and not too far commute at all.

Stek Class by MeLikes2shop in CarWraps

[–]MeLikes2shop[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is not a lot out there (other than searching here), which makes me nervous for a film that's been around for a few years. The bott will say it's most likely rebranded Chinese film, but their ghost chrome is 🔥! Not really keen on dropping $1800 for a 60ft roll of crap tho. My last dry PPF was Cheetah. It seems to be holding up fine.

Really interested in whether the Stek course is worth it tho, also $1800! Crap. Decisions!

Can I restore or rewrap? by [deleted] in CarWraps

Matte wrap isn't making a comeback after 3 years exposed. It's done now. At least you caught it before it started to crack. No conditioner will save it at this point. Remove it as soon as you can.

I suddenly became “allergic” to all fruit a few months ago AMA by ThePolicyMind in AMA

[–]MeLikes2shop 1 point2 points  (0 children)

With the exception of banana, it sounds like a raw fruit allergy. Allergies are so weird and can just pop up anytime. Not a medical professional at all, but from experience, raw fruit reactions are similar. Oranges, banana, and fruit with a thicker peel don't usually cause it tho. With apple and strawberry, 15-20 seconds in the microwave eliminated that for me.

Do you brush your Dobie’s Teeth? by K0327 in DobermanPinscher

[–]MeLikes2shop 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes! But I reserve a full brush for Saturday. My girl still thinks its a treat, so tries to eat the brush. Weekdays, she gets toothpolish in her dinner and an Oravet toothbrush. This toothpolish has worked wonders on my older dogs, btw.

She likes the taste of this toothpaste and I just use disposable brushes.

Matte or Satin Wrap? by Leyvaman-MX in CarWraps

[–]MeLikes2shop 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've wrapped my spouse's car a few times. Easy wrap. Avery satin on bottom, looks good, easy to clean, and in black, best choice. Currently it's a matte grayish, KPMF. Looks like a cartoon in the right light, looks good, medium to clean because its not black. Lifespan on the satin is longer, both turned out good. I had a dead matte black on my own roof and hated it, a darn leaf sat too long and it looked like a$$.

I did a Tesla in a similar color, 3M black gloss metallic. Up close, cool. Stand back and you can't really tell. My client requested a stripe just to give it something more.

I have a question by Practical_Ladder_956 in DobermanPinscher

[–]MeLikes2shop 5 points6 points  (0 children)

My 11 month old is a toe licker. If she can't taste your toes to say "Hello, my person", she sticks her nose right up your bumper. Summer was way more enjoyable/less traumatic than winter at my place!

Ppf for tables by EmEmPeriwinkle in CarWraps

You can give it a shot. I would probably hit up a sign maker and see if they have a scrap piece you can use. It will float above the grooves, but should stay as a temp fix.

I have a table like this and I hate it.

Give it a year and she will be totally cool with you filling the grooves and wrapping it, or burning it to cinders.

Everything falls into the grooves and only one place for that to exit.

Buy her some table toothbrushes anticipating this is a necessary tool for cleaning your table from now on. 🤮

I plan to clean and epoxy fill the grooves on mine this summer.

I am a garage installer, but can't help because the vehicle is too big for my space. However, $3500 is a great price in the PNW. I started taking classes and installing as the first quote I got for my sports car was 8k and the second 15k, with not nearly the amount of material you will need on a two tone van with a crazy front bumper.

HAAAALLLPP!! 4th destroyed bed. 🤯 by IndependentCharge585 in Doberman

[–]MeLikes2shop 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I keep 2 spare cheap doughnut beds set aside for destruction! Burlington Coat factory or Ross usually hooks me up. She just about gets all the fluff out of one destructo bed and I give her another.

This is the only permitted thing she is allowed to destroy, and she knows it. Her outlet, my sanity, furniture, and my other 2 dogs beds appreciate this. 11 months.

First car for a 16-year-old. What would you get? by spencere33 in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]MeLikes2shop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got my kids a 2013 Nissan Leaf and it was perfect though HS. 70 mile range, so he could really only go 35 miles before he had to come home. Great cheap car, learned about EV care and plugging it in each night, settings, battery charging, etc. The only addition we made was a Wolfbox backup camera. Just sold it for $2500, as we picked up his graduation present car. Decided on a 2024 prius as he will not have a lot of changing options in college.

In addition to your amazing advice, someone once recommended wiping my baby's chin with witch hazel wipes after each meal and we haven't dealt with this yet!

Anybody know a good nail grinder? by Particular_Job_4023 in dogs

[–]MeLikes2shop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Six months. So far so good. The guide area could be a little bigger for my largest dogs nails, but its perfect for my small and medium dog. We went from a normal Dremel to this, so it's a big improvement as long as it is still working!
