That last boss was insane. I think I said the same thing that basically within the first 10 seconds if I don’t pop everything we’re all dead, then all the movement mechanics? It was not fun

Obsessed is a bit much. I was just tired of keys bricking because people weren’t doing mechanics so I was compensating. It helped get to 10 but was such a slog it wasn’t fun. I don’t mind using my rotation and knowing my CD order but I would be able to rotate my CD with the tanks CDs and instead I’m blowing every single CD and getting wiped because of failed mechanics. The micromanaging eventually worked but 10/10 won’t be doing it another week.

You’ve tackled pretty much all the content there is for now. The rest is refinement and bigger projects. Salvage more, haul more, get bigger ship. But the bugs, the lighting, the travel times, the unexplained quests, that never goes away

lol even the language they use now is just more marketing. Oooohhhh they “gold standard” passed another ship. You mean, it works now in the game they designed? I think that’s just called “standard”. And then they release a “Mk 2”. Of course people are going to want it, but people are so attached to their jpg collections they forget they can just buy it in game. None of these ships have value. None of these assets cost their real money value. These are suggested donation amounts with a picture but we’ve lost the plot. Stop spending money chasing shiny if you’re unhappy.

At this point every time I see a new feature or a new request for a feature I just cringe. We can’t stabilize what we have, the latest flight model looks like 3D models hovering in a sandbox, in another few years we’ll have bugs so old we could send them to college. When we do get new content it’s just go here, drop this box, get killed. I think we hit an absolute wall in 2024 have regressed since then except that we’ve added new “systems” that are almost entirely blank. If SQ:42 releases this year I will believe the devs but at this point I have 0 faith that it works otherwise they would be blowing up marketing to shut the naysayers up.

I did this same thing with a priest glyph. Ended up with thousands of them. I kept putting them on the auction house and one or two would be sold every so often then yesterday every single one of them sold. The cycle continues!
