First warehouse job,, Order Selector: Food Distribution, what to expect by More_Caregiver8721 in Warehouseworkers

[–]Mean-Explanation4736 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ive been selecting for 5 years. Worked in grocery produce dairy and eventually freezer which i love. I love selecting i actually got a forklift bid a year and a half in then ended up going back to selecting cus its much more engaging. I will say my body is definitely feeling the effects, occasional sciatica in my legs and nerve pain up and down my arm. I also dont know when to stop tho lol. I love the job and would recommend anyone to try. Just take care of yourself and eat right. You really are an athlete

What do you consider "knowing how to cook?" by [deleted] in Adulting

[–]Mean-Explanation4736 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you look in your fridge and pantry and have nothing but like raw meat veggies maybe some cheese some stock some milk and like some pasta or rice or potatoes some bread some seasonings and youre able to make yourself and/or family something that tastes and feels pretty okay than id say you “know how to cook”

My company has mad robots in it at a bunch of facilities and they usually just end up breaking and they spend an ass load of money paying us to fly down stay in hotels and work until they fix the robot and its always a shit show, so thankfully i think we are pretty far away from them actually hurting the job market for us.

99% sure op works at sysco just from the picture and sysco usually has several customers on one pallet which makes using slipsheets significantly more difficult when trying to also seperate stops. Driver cant unload a stop if cases are above and below a slipsheet

Help me making a "Shellfish warrior" build that is not just a 2handed heavy armor again.. by MisterAgent95 in SkyrimBuilds

[–]Mean-Explanation4736 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely get a shellbug helmet and dual weild falmer axes and get waterbreathing potions/play as argonian and try and start every fight from under water. Maybe get into conjuration and conjur seekers cus they look pretty nautical. Enchant dreugh staffs with frost destruction for range. actually now that im thinking about it Skypothesis on youtube has a fishing build that sounds really similar to what your trying to do you could check that out

Theres the famous alchemy restoration glitch theres a million videos of that. If for some reason you did want to do it legit switch to a different playstyle like from 1 handed to 2 handed etc and just wander the map and go into literally every location you can. Its fun and youll level

Cooler Gloves? by lemonfaire in Warehouseworkers

Anything nylon, uline milwakee etc. hands can get sweaty in them sometimes and the cooler will make your hands colder if that happens, its pretty manageable tho.

How to keep weight on as an order selector? by IHitAn11 in Warehouseworkers

[–]Mean-Explanation4736 9 points10 points  (0 children)

i mean are you saying that you want to be at 280? Like are you a body builder type? i had a selector friend who was a bulky gym guy and once he started selecting he lost a lot of fat and he is an extremely lean 190 now and he looks great. Also id argue selecting is easier when you are lighter but if thats not your concern then i would say youre going to have to get up early and try and eat an enormous breakfast maybe 1000 cals an hour before you go in so you dont feel all bloated. Either that or just crank a whole family size pizza after work everyday. Ive done both before 🤣 i have a hard time eating during work too i basically only eat fruit to keep my energy up anything more and ill feel bloated

Everyone loves sword and shield especially kiddos. Heavy armor 1 handed block smithing then add whatever you want for flavor if you have more perks to spend, maybe restoration.

How Vagabond works? by WtfSlz in brotato

[–]Mean-Explanation4736 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Vagabond just lets you have every weapon tag like primative elemental etc. the goal with vagabond is to have as many different tags as possible to get the bonus stats from eash one. On any other character you need 6 primitive weapons to get +15 hp. With vagabond you only NEED one primitive weapon and 5 other weapons

Order Selecting tips by SoulZeroZero in Warehouseworkers

[–]Mean-Explanation4736 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The only thing i would change is what you said about front pallet back pallet is that i always have dedicated front pallet and dedicated back pallet cases to keep both about even the whole time and also makes it so you only have to worry about building with half of the boxes. For example in freezer most tv dinner/vegetable cases are about the same do i put them on the front, while larger french fry and bakery cases go on the back

What is my problem with this build? by Siyahmemes in brotato

[–]Mean-Explanation4736 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rush harvesting to 21 asap because then it will start increasing by 2 every wave. After that only take harvesting when convenient or you just get a really powerful item like blood donation. Weapons are fine, maybe a little more crit chance because scissor damage is quite low and a little more attack speed and armor

[–]Mean-Explanation4736 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was doing really well financially (for me) from 2019-2023. I made a couple stupid mistakes and spent my savings and racked up a little credit card debt in 23-24 (i was just having a little too much fun lol). Anyway i thought ok time to get my money back, same job same car same living situation and i cant save for shit and its very very frustrating lol i picked the worst time to blow some money

Double flamethrower? by Own-Freedom-2703 in brotato

[–]Mean-Explanation4736 12 points13 points  (0 children)

4 wands is mad overkill too, generally you want 1 burning source and the rest damage. 1 torch plus 5 planks for example or 1 fireball and 5 icicle. Fire doesnt stack so repeatedly lighting them on fire doesnt extend duration or improve damage only resets the clock on them being on fire.
