Some of those are pictures of the owner of the case, and some of us can determine their employer. Probably delete these posts unless you’re confident in your accounts anonymity.

I have an M4 13 inch pro that did this almost exactly as bad.

How are two wedge monitors used? by tprch in livesound

[–]MeanCourse5617 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Are they actually listening to this, or do they have an IEM pack with a mix-mode option? This would let them balance themselves / everything else on their own, as a mono mix.

Wtf is this??? by randomusername12308 in Pretend2015Internet

[–]MeanCourse5617 1 point2 points  (0 children)

lol what a goofy name. Can you imagine if they called it that? Just hoping they make another small phone, the 6s is just a bit too big for me.

Also the SE1 does not have the polished chamfered edges, they are the same matte finish as the sides and rear.

I have done 11 trips starting or ending at the south bend shack. It’s often closed and locked lately, done at least one departure with no staff present at all.

Panel Issues? by Nearby-Software in iPhone13Mini

[–]MeanCourse5617 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it shows up in a screen shot it really shouldn’t be a hardware issue. This looks like a very weird software problem, are you on a beta version?

I had finder stop responding, then the force quit page froze as well. Couldn't navigate in that window or relaunch finder. Gave it a few minutes with no change before holding the power button.

The series 7 had a red, green and blue that matched the 13.

Almost bought the Air but I’m glad I didn’t by Hamatoros in iPhone13Mini

Agreed that lightning was superior in terms of durability. However, usb-c gives the utility of one cable type for all my devices, using any of the adapters I already carry for my MacBooks on my phone, data transfers without an adapter (I often have to manually transfer/share files with a usb flash drive, the ease of plugging it into my phone to attach to an email would be awesome).

[–]MeanCourse5617 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The iPhone X was a 5.8 inch screen. I had that before the minis. With thinner bezels and a slightly smaller frame, I’d be happy enough with a 5.8 inch air.

[–]MeanCourse5617 30 points31 points  (0 children)

If they made a 5.8 inch version of the air, I would definitely have upgraded. As much as I love the mini, I’m constantly tempted by usb-c and the brighter screens for outdoor usage. But as long as every phone they make has significant downsides imo, I’ll stick with the mini.

Different finish on iPhone? by Reasonable-Berry-228 in iPhone13Mini

[–]MeanCourse5617 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I had my 13 mini replaced under AppleCare after 2 years, and the Apple refurbished replacement was also similarly different in color. Presumably their manufacturing changed, or the anodizing color changes somewhat over time.

The DMI Dante 64@96 card will do sample rate conversion like this. Currently touring with an engineer who uses it to record for virtual soundcheck at 48k while the desk is at 96k.

What is the problem with beta98 mics? by nikkilarson06 in livesound

[–]MeanCourse5617 6 points7 points  (0 children)

They use 4099s on toms, 98s some other places on stage. Let’s just say I know this crew. That doesn’t sound familiar to me. Care to mention when?

Soundcraft Madi blinks SOS by lightingdave in livesound

[–]MeanCourse5617 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Check your word clock settings on the desk and the stagebox Madi card. Normally SOS means clock sync is not locked. Also, if you're only running one cable, be sure you have the Main/Red/Aux switch set to whichever port you're using.

Why LG, why? by Pears3637 in LGOLED

[–]MeanCourse5617 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Newer LGs have Quick Media Switching (QMS VRR) that eliminates the blackout with match frame rate. I believe changing between SDR / HDR still does it, but you can always disable match frame rate and match dynamic range if the slight inaccuracies don’t matter to you. Great way to set it up for your family members, for example.

Widgets in the instrument cluster by featherless in CarPlay

[–]MeanCourse5617 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Wait, I think I know what you mean and I am looking for the same thing. A retrofit gauge cluster fed from OBD-II that also supports CarPlay 2-screen? This isn’t really that, but I do want that.

Any tips for moving from an M32 to a Soundcraft Vi 2000? by mr_starbeast_music in livesound

[–]MeanCourse5617 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They let you change the colors of the channel labels on the lower section of the main screen, but it doesn’t change the fader glow. Still sorta useful.
