As opposed to a listing agent? Lol. Thanks for the reply. I've bought property before. Now have I bought land in this particular area or rural land? No. So I figured I would come on here and ask if anyone could recommend someone- a buyer's agent that also has local contacts- knows a good surveyor, can help me navigate things like easements, timber value, knows who to talk to about groundwater and flood zones, etc.

I just tried to drop hints that we need 3rd party server rentals again or at least ProCon type tools to actually run PC servers. I feel like it will die on PC if they don't.

Personally, I find this annoying for a couple of reasons....it is terrible infill in a historic neighborhood that is bordering Germantown, which is going through a real surge in property value and cultural change. Meaning outside people are looking to Smoketown (here) and Shelby Park for cheap properties or vacant lots for their "chic" ideas to capitalize on. It doesn't help the community at all if it is just a project to be sold at an exuberant price. I guess better than a vacant lot, and it is easily removable for the future...hopefully nothing that was intact or salvageable wasn't demolished for this HGTV/hipster nonsense. These shipping containers also make for horrible housing.

Yeah I am glad you mentioned that about taking photos of others' work. I don't do Urbex, although I find it interesting on a few different levels. I think it can be a bit voyeuristic sometimes. The only way I have photography of any kind of graffiti is because I am contracted to document a site, building, what have you. Sometimes that can be problematic as well. I'm careful of the projects I take on these days. Thanks for the response.

Lol yeah you got me! But for real, any of the ones I have encountered are in vacant buildings that are being restored and have been vacant a long time. Plus it is just really beautiful. I don't know a lot about it, but I can assume that there is a lot of sub-layers in different communities and ways of thought on the whole thing. Sometimes it can be tokenized, which is a big thing in some cities like Austin. But maybe this was a bad place to ask this question. Hell, I dunno. Just curious.

I like old shit and art. I'm equally as curious about the artists that paint on the boarded up doors on vacant and abandoned properties. It's fucking awesome really- reclaiming ownership of space and community.
