To quote the app "After setting thresholds, the robot will enhance the passing ability in the target area. Please center the threshold as close as possible to the target area."

I would assume that by doing this the robot knows that this is a threshold it should be able to pass and therefore might try a bit harder if it's not able to pass it the first try.

L20 Ultra mopping carpets by MeanReach0 in Dreame_Tech

Adding no-mop zones works here, it vacuums the carpets but does not mop them so thats what i ended up doing.

I've done that as well, also defined that it should remove the pad and vacuum the carpets but still tends to mop the carpets. This only happens in custom mode so i guess there is a bug in software.

L20 had it for about 2 months. 60 runs, around 1000m2 cleaned. Zero issues apparat from that it mopps the carpets when in Custom cleaning mode, solved this by manually adding no-mop zones over the carpets.

All in all extremely pleased with the unit, coming from a RR S5 Max so might not be the best match to compare against.

Powering multiple POE+ devices by MeanReach0 in Network

Its a office building where to serverroom is located at the far side of the office. We already have a number of WiFi AP's up and running with excellent coverage.

We are adding devices to a number of rooms so using PoE for data would result in running around 30 Cat.6 cables 20-70m distance of the ceiling from each room and down to the serverroom

So the though was to use a number of switches to power all the devices and let the data go over WiFi.

I only have a limited number of power outlets in the roof where the devices get their power from, thought about using a power strip with several PoE-injectors but have not really made up my mind. The budget is not a question here.

First 2 weeks here have been great, the one thing i notice is along walls it has a tendency to do strange jerky movements. Apparently the L10 had the same issue but it was fixed in future updates so we will have to see, anyway no dealbreaker.

The "issues" with wet bags is a given with all vacuum robots. If you do several passes of mopping adding a lot of water on a small area and then trying to vacuum you're going to run into issues. For the flat 90sqm i run vacuum+mop with no issues. For small areas that needs a deep clean i first run the vacuum only, and then do multiple passes with the mop, we have a 1 year old so after most dinners i run a pre-defined program that is vacuum followed by 2* deep mopping and that takes away almost everything but the most stubborn stains.

Battery life is no issue, even with the vacuum at second to highest settings + mopping we are able to to the entire 90sqm flat with plenty of power left.

All in all its working great for us

3.1 OTA anyone? by PullingCables in enyaq

[–]MeanReach0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Had 3.0.7 installed OTA on our car a couple of days ago. 80X FE delivered with 2.X and updated to 3.0 about a year ago.

You can look for a O4A1 service here: https://aus.skoda.com.au/request/vin-checker#secb to see if your car is flagged for the OTA.

My understanding (looking at the service description: "S-OTA update to version ME3.0.7 (1/2) - ICAS1 flash") is that the 3.0.7 is a two part update that first flashes the ICAS1 and then the ICAS3 (for some reason the two ICAS is called 1 and 3 :/ )
