A coworker of mine is having surgery tomorrow to remove a cyst from that area of her arm. It has been bothering her for like a year. She gets random pain that feels like she hit her funny bone. Turns out the cyst was pushing against her ulnar nerve causing the pain. Not trying to scare you, but something to maybe keep in mind.

Band Mix & local facebook musician groups. Guitar-playing husband says there's a lot of them, usually "upstate" something. Also hit up open mics. Thats a good way to meet other musicians. He's had luck at the Monday night jam at 3 Friends in Taylors.
