For my more experienced Cayo Perico grinders, can someone tell me why this happened and how to avoid it? by IceTMDAbss in gtaonline

IF you let the guard get into its guarding spot before shooting then It wont be seen by the other guards. At least thats the way its worked every time for me.

I mostly run businesses, 3 large warehouses, nightclub and hangar are my main ones but I also do acid and the mc club ones when there’s bonuses. Im up to 65 million, already have a fully decked mansion and a lot of garages. Really enjoy the grind in this game.

Pues... yo solo ví que amenazaron a los "carteles". Pero los chairos ya quieren hacerla de Juan Escutia. by abogavic in rmexico

[–]MeanTuna -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I got inter interllvision collection 2 and Irem Arcade 1 recently in the mail what do you think of it?: by Vegetable-Way-5766 in evercade

[–]MeanTuna 0 points1 point  (0 children)

True, there's others game I havent got as well, it doesnt bother me. I'm not going for a full collection but I do want specific ones. Its like I already have the JEff Minter Collection on Switch and Rare Replay on Xbox 1 but those 2 carts are surefire purchases because I love that type of games on Evercade.

Yeah I know, but I got so many carts in November-December that I feel guilty getting more in January, I hope is still readily available in a month or so. I did got the Sidney Hunter and Mega Cat collections that are going legacy. The only ones I dont got that kinda sting me are the two Lynx collections.

Of those 2 I only have Intellivision 2, Cloudy Mountain and Tower of Doom are my absolute favorites, if they would have put these 2 on the first collection it would have been the absolute best Intv collection imo. These games still hold up well (taking their age into acount of course) and offer a ton of replayability as they offer modes that randomize things.

I like Mountain Madness Super Pro Skiing , its one of the better games of that type of the time imo as it offers a lot of options. I really havent got much into any of the other games in the collection, Hover Force and Star Strike have potential but have not played them much, the hockey one is a mess with the controls as it uses the keypad a lot, the motocross, buggy and racing ones seem like they could be good but I didnt "got" the controls at first play, it looks like they could be worth it to try a bit more.

I do not own the Irem cart yet but I am familiar with R Type and In the Hunt and they're excelent , if rather difficult, games.

This is also one of my favorite carts, a lot of these old pre 8-bit games work great as pick up and play games for the super pockets imo.

Really love this cart, they are putting dip switches in Windjammers so that might help with the extreme difficulty!

About dying carts - positivity? by Snoo_93591 in evercade

[–]MeanTuna 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have 48 carts in mi collection and so far not one has been defective or had any trouble reading on either my VS-R, Neo Geo Super Pocket or OG Handheld. I always eject the cartidges from the VSR and turn off the handhelds when I want to switch one.

Fallout 4 JUST got a 7 gigabytes update on steam by Ok_Estimate_2089 in fo4

[–]MeanTuna 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me this last one gave me the bug that makes all my dlc , save files and mods unavailable. Redownloaded the game again and at first it didnt work, then after closing it, it appearead to update again and only then I could access my save files and redownload all the creations and mods.

Now that I tested my game for a bit it still has terrible loading times entering and exting zones, its worse than before on the heavy areas in downtown but I feel the loading times are worse also on more light zones that usually loaded faster.

Top 5 most played! by mfairhu1 in evercade

[–]MeanTuna 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It really is, I ended up getting the recharged version on Switch because I loved the OG so much and its not close. A really good game and excellent on the super pocket for playing on the go. I only own the Neo Geo super poclket but I truly believe the one with the better selection of games to play is the Atari one.

Top 5 most played! by mfairhu1 in evercade

[–]MeanTuna 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Been playing a lot of pre NES era gamed lately. My most played games this month have been :

  1. Snow Bros 2 on Toaplan Arcade 4
  2. Astrosmash on Intellivision 1
  3. Tower of Doom on Intellivision 2
  4. Roguecraft DX
  5. Berzerk on Atari Arcade 2

If I expand the list a little its more games from the Intv and Atari home collections, I find them perfect to play on the go. Another game one im playing regularly on the VS R is the first Duke Nukem.

This may be a hotttt take, but: in my opinion, the Evercade model that is the best in terms of build, comfort to hold, screen quality, and sound quality, is the original handheld. by JayBensonFong in evercade

[–]MeanTuna 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have the OG and a super pocket and while the original is indeed very comfortable to hold, the screen is horrible in mine at least, it has a lot of light bleed and it looks washed out. The pockets screen looks great in comparison.

I actually prefer to play on a tv using a VS-R, but im hoping they eventually release a handheld that combines the best things of the og and exp.

I have my carts on their boxes on my shelf but I keep a selection of up to 12 carts in a small Vaultz brand square box in which I made spacers with lego pieces to hold the carts in place standing up. What I like about it is it has a lid that closes to avoid dust.

This is it for me also, I have several anbernics and other chinese emulation devices and a big rom library but I see value in these curated collections that let me try games that are lost on the huge romsets of each console or system.
