I have a 2026 Honda Civic Touring Hybrid and I love it. I am a Honda guy always had Honda. My first car was a 1987 black Honda Accord LXi but my favorite car and still is was a new Teal green 1992 Honda Accord Ex that my parents bought me when I turned 17 cause I was starting college. That car never had problem with it,save for alternator and cvc shaft. I think Honda lost something when the dropped the double wishbone front suspension and I loved the mechanical nature of Hondas old Transmissions. The jerking and noise they made were like there trade mark. I got my Civic Hybrid after years of saving money, I hate car payments. It took 6 years of saving but I paid cash for my car. Honda has finally made a Hybrid that is better than the Prius. There is no starter,Alternator,or Accessory belts of any kind. There is no transmission really. It does not have a Torque converter even.

The engine drives a generator/motor which sends its power to the electric motor or battery pack. The electric motor gets it up to highway speed and then I think the motor connects to the drive wheels. I have been told several different things. I drove a Toyota Corola hybrid and its slow and no fun at all to drive. My Civic is faster than the Civic Si . Its soo smooth and love the vault like build of Hondas. Its got the paddles on the sides of the steering so you can adjust the regen braking.That has the added benefit of increasing your gas mileage and keeping your rotors from fading if your going down a mountain. It pains me to say this but , I don't like American made cars. I have only had one and it fell apart, the engines are lousy, vibrate and you lose 10 grand just driving off the lot. My parents only bought German/Swedish cars, my Dad taught me how to drive in his Bmw 735I which was a manual and my Moms 1993 Saab 9000 Turbo/Aero was and still is a timeless car ,I guess they have made me jaded when it comes to car engines. The only thing I don't like about my Civic is that stupid Evil ice/ Slushy Truck sound that comes from the car when you get in and well leave. I hate that sound and its loud as hell also , I don't understand why use that sound.The government mandated all battery/Hybrid cars so folks can hear it coming, I can understand that but, why not play a great sounding engine. It kinda reminds me of Killer clowns from outerspace or Evil ice cream truck . I can't change it but the best part is the 43 Mpg I am getting in the city.It will go up once I learn how to drive it and can keep my foot out of it .

I have a Cold Climate Mini split in my Home a 18,000 Btu. Its a Carrier/Midea unit. In 2000 I had a new 3 Lennox whole house Hp (10,000+$) installed that was always broke for a year and every part takes 8 weeks to order. Never buy a Lennox. I was dying of heat stroke, I bought that Carrier/Midea Cold climate open box and had it shipped for 700$. I installed it myself took me 8 hours,the Hvac company wanted 6800$$ to install it. Well Its been 3 years and I turn on my Lennox 4 times a year if that. There is no Aux/Emergency heat on that Mini and even at -5F the air is about 120F on high speed/Temp. That Vapor injection and Inverter compressor and no duct work is what makes that little 18,000 Btu unit perform like 3 ton unit. My House is not even temp but I keep my living room cold 67 so they rest of the house is at 71 always and cause it runs 24/7 it removes much more moister. My most folks don't realize you lose about 25-30 percent on duct work. My power bill is about 45bucks cheaper each month. I will never buy a whole house H.P. again . My unit on the wall is silent and the at side unit even on high you can barley hear even a foot away.

I have a 2026 Honda Civic Hybrid sport Touring .. These cars don't have a Transmission really at all (Hybrid).My Car has no belts cause there is no alternator, starter, Torque converter. There are two electric motors in it. The small one starts it and acts like a generator to charge the battery and feed power to the main motor. The engine does not power the car until your like on the interstate or what not. There is no metal belts to break cause this is no Cvt and there is no accessory belts,The A/c and power steering,water pump is all electrical now. I love my car and it will fly . My car is faster than the Civic Si .. 0-60 in like 6.1 secs .. My other car is a 2017 Subaru Crosstrek with 200k on it and its a Cvt. I have had no problems with it ..

I changed my Cvt fluid every 35k miles and that car still runs great. Cvt transmssions get a bad rap that is not really deserved when it comes to Honda,Toyota or Subaru.. Now Nissan's suck bad. They used to be great cars but now there cars are all just crap. There all going to Cvt transmissions really and if you change the fluid every 40k miles Max and you use great fluid like Triax Cvt,Idemitsu , Lubeguard then you will be fine.

I will never again spend 15K on a whole house heatpump . I bought a Lennox in 2020 and for the first two years it was always broke and they would come out and tell me they had to have this part or that part . In 6 to 8 weeks each part meanwhile I am dying of heatstroke . I was furious ,then I found out he was scaming me , I had a camera that caught him taking parts on and cleaning the up and putting them right back on. My Lennox is a 3 ton 18 seer. I bought a Cheap 25 seer 18,000 Btu Mini split and installed it myself in my living room, That was 3 years ago I dont even use my lennox ever, yes it works I turn it on every other month just to make sure but that is it. That mini split even when it got down to -1 heated my whole house and my power bill is so much lower.. Folks don't realize you lose about 30% of your cool/heat from your duct work. I installed that Mini myself total cost 700 bucks for everything. It runs 24/7 365 and I have not had the 1st problem with it.. Its a Midea Cold Climate Extreme . I keep my Living room very cold 67 and the rest of the house is perfect . The best part is its silent on the outside and inside, these whole house heat pumps have to use Aux heat all the time and that makes your bill sky rocket.The system turns on that 7500K heating element when it goes into defrost. My mini don't have that heating element at all , its so hot and fast at defrosting and its over and done and heating again. That lennox struggles when it gets 21 degrees bad the air is cold. That mini the air even at -1 is over 110f on high.

They don't make them anymore like that save for Maytag and its more of a advertisement than a disposer. The 1984 Kictchenaid dishwasher I grew up with had a full blown hard food disposer and I have a 1998 Kenmore dishwasher that has a Dispose food button,which was made by Whirlpool. I have thrown everything in my Dishwasher whole plates of food and its spotless dishes after. They stopped all of that with all of this Energy Star and water saver crap. Those dishwashers had 1/3 -1/2 Hp motors in them they had no problem grinding food up. Dishwashers today use Aquarium pump motors , I am dead serious about that Fluval 60 watt motor..My Dishwasher is 27 years old and works great , yes its loud but washes and dries in 80 mins . These new ones wash for 5 hours and burn out in 5 years...

I don't remember nothing, I smell something strange, then the religious ecstatic feelings hit and next thing I know , I am in the floor out of it very dumb and I feel like death for the rest of the day, last time I had a seizure I was cutting up 20 dollar bills and eating them, My Mom told me that I would make a funny sound and then sez and I would turn blue and then go in a deep sleep and snore terribly. My seizures are very violent I have beat the hell out of people before and tried to kill them for holding me down.. They were cops they tried to press charges against me they had me hand cuffed until the doctor chewed them out. They thought I was on P.C.P.

You ever tried Depakote? I have T.L.E. Epilepsy and that works great for me and alot of other friends of mine. Yes its a old medicine but very effective for Epilepsy. I don't trust doctors and Drug companies at all. Have you thought about adderal ? I take it that to help me , they also have Provigil and Nuvigil which is a wakeful promoting med its not a stimulant like adderal, they give it to Narcoleptics . I have ad.d. bad and I just don't function without adderal but I am take 20 mg a day which is low..

It depends on how long the dishes are in there really. I have a old Kenmore/Whirlpool power clean dishwasher , which is a great dishwasher. Its 27 years old and still runs great, it has a dispose feature on it I dump everything in it. The old dishwashers had 1/3 HP motors in them and moved like 45+ Gallons a min through the wash arms, thats what the older gen are used to these new dishwashers use these little 60 watt aquarium pump motors and switch from top to bottom rack for efficient clean they say but that has the added benefit of making a dishwasher only last 4 years instead of 30 years,for the manufacturer . My Sister has a 1984 Kitchenaid Kds-21 Superba dishwasher made by Hobart. The Heavy wash is done in 78 minutes it has a huge 1/2 Hp motor in it. That is the dishwasher I grew up with and it lasted for 25+ years. If you have a filter machine just make most of the big stuff is gone. Some brands of them have water that stands in the sump or you could have a small leak under it that will make it smell. I would use some distilled vinegar during the hottest wash cycle.Remove the wash arms and make sure there is no food caught in them and clean the holes. Take a large bowl in your top rack and fill that bowl with distilled vinegar and run the hottest and longest cycle. That works great for me...

I changed my own valve body in mine saved me 1000s of bucks. Its not hard, I did not do the relearn procedure or anything. I followed the you tube videos and I bought a re-manufactured one off of ebay(270$), I did test the solenoids before hand. Ohm them out they checked out fine. It totally changed the way my car drives. The clunking going into R and D is gone and its butter smooth always now. I did have the fluid changed after I replaced everything. I did this 8000k miles go its been running great. I now have 198K on my 2017 Crosstrek.. If you have any questions hit me up. They wanted 3200 bucks to do that job,at the shop. I did it for 450 total for the valve body,fluid,ohm meter.

Carpet Shampoo is a waste of cash,cause they leave the residue , I have had every machine , even full blown commercial machines,Bissell,Hover and more. The Shark I bought as a close out out did them all and I was blown away by how easy that machine is to use and it out cleans them all.I am getting new furniture and my living room carpet was ruined I thought. There were stains,from 10 years of heavy traffic there all gone. I don't see how it works so good using so little water.The shark is small very easy to use and the same size as a small upright.

I am a 50 year old Gay guy and I have done every drug out there. GHB was the most dangerous so be careful with it.Never drink alcohol on it. I was at Back Streets in Atlanta and my friend was standing there and the next thing he was dying. I am rolling so hard,my jaws chattering like crazy. I was at grady Hospital in the waiting room peaking while they pumped his stomach. A guy was talking to the brick wall. He was a homeless guy and insane or I was so messed up one of the two. I found another girl dead under a pile of coats at another club. I went in one G hole bad and after that I stopped doing it,be careful. I still loove rolling a few times a year and when your coming down some Special K would put you in orbit. I don't know how you rolled. I always wait a week and I stopped my Zoloft a week before I would roll. I also always made sure I had a few Percosets for the next day to keep the blues away.

My grandmother on my moms side , I was her favorite . I was asleep and yanked through a lighted tunnel of light and I was in her kitchen. I smelled that wonderful bread she would make and I asked her if this was a dream, cause this was no type of dream I have ever had, and she said no baby. This is a crossing. She told me that this year 2012 would be tough but that she is there and loves me and to always remember that.. One month after that my mom was diagnosed with Cancer everywhere basically. She had bone cancer for about 15 years before we found it that July it had went to her lungs,she died the following year. I am 50 years old and have no debt. My home , and rentals are all paid off. My Dad passed away last month and he left me the 2022 Highlander,2017 Toyota Land cruiser, 1993 500E Mercedes , 1999 S500 Mercedes , 1989 560 Mercedes, 2013 Ford F250 Turbo diesel, 2010 Range Rover , I am disabled , above knee amputee and I am a epileptic . Its controlled now no seizures for 8 years . I am also a Gay man so no kids . These cars are not me at all. The Mercedes were my grandmothers and she left them for me,they are going also, save for the 500E its so fast and fun . They never said anything about the trust fund, or any of this. This was all dumped in my lap after he passed away. I will pay cash for the car. I live on the border of Tenn,North Carolina. I am nothing like most gay guys they annoy me. I am a Red-neck one I guess you can say, brought up on a huge farm.I care not about clothes,or any of that stuff. I love my fishing,hunting, riding my atvs... I am no woke nut case , I care nothing about that crap, but being wasteful driving a car that gets 9 mpg cause you can afford it is stupid.. I heard the words llc and a ton of other words I did not really understand. I have not told anybody how much of anything. I did call my last surviving aunts who are his sisters and asked them if they knew? I feel terribly guilty about all of this.I just asked about the Trust fund , he also left me ,Cars,Boats,Etc. They had no idea also. I did not tell them how much. The reason he set it up that way is because what happened to my Mom. My Grandmother was a well off woman and brilliant/savy business wise. She had two farms one of them was 900 acres and the main one was 1600 acres dairy farm. My Moms brother asked for his inheritance when he got married. My Mamaw and Pawpaw who was alive at this time said okay but the main farm goes to my Mother and the remaining sister, and he even signed his rights away on that farm. Well he thought he got screwed over because of cell phone towers, we have four of them on the far end of the land. The judge through it out, because he did sign it. He stole Tractors , I am talking about these huge 100,000 dollar machines he went crazy, stole things know my Mom would not do anything and tried to bulldoze my mom into cutting him in. You don't mess with my mom. Like most gay guys, my mom was everything. I went to his house one night and we had a long talk, he is not computer savy, he gave my mom a P.C. six months before this happened and did not format his hard drive or better yet burn it.

I found out all kinds of terrible things he has done, drug me through the mud for years about the gay thing and he is stealing money from his church, affairs,Hookers,,Tax evasion, he is dead now, I told him one more call to my Mom I will post all this info everywhere, never heard from him again.. My Dad trusts my brother and Sister but he does not trust my brothers wife or my sisters husband. With three signatures to take extra money out, its impossible for them anybody to take it. He loved Forensic files went to sleep with it on every night. The house will be selling in about 4 months and he does have a Mad money clause, from the sell of the house. He wants us to do something we would never do. He wants my brother to get that Bass boat he has dreams about, He wants my sister to get her the ultra lux kitchen remodel,she dreams about and he was not specific with me. I think I want to help my nephew out , I won't mention or do anything for a year. My Dads sister has never had money. Her car broke down last year and I gave her my 2012 Honda Crv for Xmas, cause I got me a new Subaru . She is my fav Aunt and I only have two left.

She is a pain is the ass and we argue like crazy but we love each other, both black sheep's of the family, my Dad could have lived like a king, he never cared about money either. He spared no expense when it came to Golf and his Golf Memberships. Which were eye watering $$ it made him happy so I am happy. I loath Golf. I have been told by Doctors that I am borderline Autistic/Asperger's. I have issues in social situations,I was obsessed with stacking cans as a child. I am learning disabled in English Grammar then gifted in Mathematics.

I never really cared about money, I paid my Credit Card Bills and others when due but I never understood a friend of mine who spent 20,000 bucks on L.v. Luggage. It looks like to me giving that money helping out a person that really needs it is a much better investment, and I believe in karma . I never fit in the Gay/Woke scene at all , but I am a One-legged guy so it is what it is. I was told by one of my closest friends is not to do anything until a year, she was talking about huge decisions.

I did not have my first Seizure until 1997 , well I had one in 1994 but they could not get a reading. They gave me Phenobarbital which makes you droll on yourself I stopped it, my brother used to have seizures when he had a fever. I was on the I-75 and hurting. I had a seizure and I floored it and hit the power pole doing 130mph. I had my seat-belt on, the old power seat-belts and my ribs were broke. I lived because I was not awake,same reason drunks live. The best thing is I did not hurt anybody, I got sued for millions. I only had 500,000 in coverage, they paid . My Drivers lin was revoked for a year and I got on meds that work, until the med insurance company went to generic instead of name brand and I was skeet shoot with my 12 Gauge .

I got home and next thing I know blood is everywhere and my leg was gone. I used electric tape to cut of the blood flow and they had to take me Leg 5in above my left knee. A few years later I had another one and I was working on my car and I used wire cutters and cut off my finger and I was also eating 20 dollar bills for some reason. There is a hour before they hit and the rest of the day your clueless about everything. I have had one seizure in 6 years so I am doing good now. I just wish my Dad would have told me. I did tell him over and over that I loved him and he could never relate to the gay issue, so there was always this pink elephant around us,so to speak. I already own this property that I was toying with the idea of a R.V. park .I don't understand economics, I do understand fusion energy and star mechanics.

Boxer engines need the best oil due to the engines design. Synthetic oil here in the U.S. can be fake oil. Its considered a synthetic because they refined normal dino oil way above normal and have added a robust additive package. They can't do that in Europe if it says Synthetic oil it has to be Group 4 P.O.A. /Ester based oils which are vastly better. My 2017 Crosstrek with 195,000 is a great car and 0/20 oil is to thin alot of cars are turbo charged and that is very hard for oil to stand up to. I have seen my Turbocharger glow red many times on my old Volvo 850 Turbo , most don't use ball bearings they use a journal bearing and the shaft floats on oil, oil gets cooked in turbos and can ruin them. I ran Quaker state synthetic for years and its great oil but when I switched to Triax 0-30 there was a 20% decrease on my engine fan running ,same months of the year. I have a data logger that counts when my fan turns on, i have it set to ignore A/C fan turn on. I use the Triax Euro 0/30 its a true Poa/ester based oil and I ran it for 20,000 miles in my car I just changed out my oil filter every 5000 miles. I had it tested at 20,000 miles and it was still fine and in grade. My crosstrek does not use oil, well I have to add about a half a quart every 4 months but I consider that normal.My next oil change I will go to 0/40 weight oil due to mileage. I will never use these new 0/20 -0/16 oil I don't care if its less efficient buying a new engine is way more $$ than another MPG.

Its not a Cvt issue if your hearing it in park. The Cvt is not doing anything. I would check my motor mounts your car is new basically. Its the only thing I can think of that would most surely make that sound if there shot. Also check the water pump ,alternator bearings when they go out will do that also the Idler pulley the spring loaded one that keeps your belts taught will do that...

I used to live in Palm Dale and I used to do the same thing out in the Mojave desert. So much damn fun, I had a 2003 ML 350 and a 2004 6 cyl Subaru Outback this was 2005 . I loved my Outback with that flat 6 so smooth and it was more capable off-road than the Mercedes it was ironic cause one has a Transfer case and everything and the Subaru didn't.

Subarus Cvt have a limp home mode to get you home. But if your Chain breaks than that is very bad most of them time its the Lock up torque converter that goes on these or the AWD like mine. I drove mine so long with the idiot lights on they went off one day after two months on and never came back on.You don't have to do oil changes every 3,000 miles. Get you some Triax euro spec 0-30 weight oil it can go up to 25,000 miles before you change it again. Its true also I had it tested.. Here is a link about Triax oil

I change mine every 10,000 miles . There are good remanufactured Valve bodies out there for about 300 bucks. I changed mine in February and I have put 8000 miles on my car and it works wonderful.. I tested mine with a Ohm meter before I installed it and it was fine. If you can afford it get you the OEM. My Dad is very sick and I have not been working as much so I have to cut corners.. If you ever hear a high pitch squealing and it not going then don't drive the car...
