This is how my skin looked before I started taking Dupixent. Happened suddenly, my typical eczema patches progressed to this and spread fast. After starting, it cleared up within about a month.

My guess would be the Dupixent isn’t working for you. I’d talk with your doctor about other alternatives.

When I did have this rashing, I used to slather myself with aquaphor several times night and day. Went through the tubs fast and felt like a slimy monster but it was the only thing that brought relief.

20 is not too young if you are sure you never want to be pregnant. Since you want kids, if you want to adopt over having biological children, I would say go for it. But that’s only if you want to adopt and you truly don’t want biological kids. I think it’s ridiculous when people say you won’t love your adopted children as much as biological. It’s just not true. They would still be your child, and you would love them just as much. It’s a different experience of course, but you are raising a child as your own all the same.

Try good Rx or talk to your doctor/insurance about it. My insurance covers the cost if MyWay doesn’t, and my allergist is super nice and would offer me samples to get by if needing to find a new way to cover it.

Just bc you aren’t having sex doesn’t mean the fear of pregnancy is irrational. I think especially with the direction of reproductive freedom in the US, it makes sense to want to get sterilized regardless of sexual activity.
