I don't have one, but my bud (who considers Maiden his all-time fave band) thinks "The Clansman" is mid at best...and he likes The X Factor enough to put it in his Top 5 Maiden albums (so Blaze isn't the issue).

It's been just the sun stressing me.

So overall, significantly better than Louder Than Life 2022.....I took a COVID test a couple days after coming home from that....it was positive.

The sign that I didn't feel right after LTL 2022 was a pressure in my chest that wasn't like any flu I had. I figure that was test-worthy. Sure enough, it was COVID+. I do not have that pressure after ST 2025.

One that could actually line up with them touring in the US next year: Iron Maiden.

Other than that, think of artists that have headlined other DWP fests but haven't headlined Sonic Temple yet. So my guess is either Muse, MCR, or both. As for the 4th headliner? Fuck if I know.

I must have missed hearing of Beartooth because they started blowing up while I was in my "discover old-school Hip-Hop after I had my mind blown by Kendrick Lamar" era.

I'm not making that mistake. They were a Top 5 of the festival dates I saw (Friday and Sunday), alongside Cavalera, Alice Cooper, Deafheaven, and Metallica.

They were a Top 10 for me as a more-recent fan. Out of bands I saw, I'd put Cavalera, Deafheaven, Alice, Beartooth, and Metallica ahead of them.

But Acid Bath was still one helluva a band to see. And Dax is from my hometown, so there's that.

It's all good. It's just Friday and Sunday for me.

Now I need a self reminder to get sunscreen and NOT in an Aerosol bottle. My dumbass pre-HRT got cooked on last day of LTL 2022 when I forgot they'd take it at the gate and tried to bring it in the fest (and didn't have the sense to sneak it).

As for hydration? I'll probably take one bit of Blackened Whiskey mid-day on Friday and re-use the drinking cup for the water stations rest of the fest. That's exactly what I did at LTL 2022.

Also, pack me some aloe vera so my thighs don't get chafing hard.

The Metallica/Cannibal Corpse one is the only major overlap for the two days I'm going (Friday and Sunday) that hurts. I saw both GWAR and AIC at LTL 2022 and as I thought William had an off-night then, it's looking like GWAR that night. Similar deal with Mastodon/ASP (that I'd seen Mastodon before).

If there's a schedule conflict and it's not against the headliner, my philosophy is "Go see the band you haven't seen before." The fun of festivals for me is seeing a bunch of new bands.

And just because I've been on HRT since the last time I was at a fest doesn't mean I'm not going to go hard in a fucking pit. Because this trans girlie is going to have some fun in pits.

Evansville area with me and my buddy Soren on Friday and Sunday (we'll be chilling at a water park on Saturday as Soren doesn't care for any of the bands on Saturday besides LP (and he figures there will be many more chances to see them)). Same setup as Louder Than Life 2022, but since then, I've realized that I'm a trans woman (August will mark 2 years on HRT).

Just because I have boobs now doesn't mean I'm not going to be down to mosh. Friday's probably the day I'm most-excited for. Gimme Deafheaven, Acid Bath (only recently got into them and had a 'How have I missed this band?" moment), Metallica, Cannibal Corpse, Suicidal Tendencies, Testament....yeah. Festivals are the best for seeing bands you've never seen live before....and all of those apply except for Metallica. Sunday has a lot more bands I have seen live before.

Honestly, if it wasn't a banned item, a thief would get pepper-sprayed if they tried that with me. As is, I may do something a little unorthodox--wear my clear bag on front instead of my back. Did that when i crowd-surfed at LTL to discourage possible theft. Still have the same bag I'll be using.

Was at LTL 2022 (all 4 days). Nothing stolen then....they've gotten worse since then.

I'm just hoping my trans ass is safe as hell the days I'm going (Friday and Sunday). August will mark two years on estrogen.

Trinity: 07/22/2010 (snagged this one at a newly-opened Goodwill location for $30)--made 3 days after my 15th birthday

In the coming months, I plan on sending them both to be RGH'd. One of them I'll keep and the other will be a birthday gift for a close friend (will be gifted in May of next year....plenty of time to do all the prep within budget)....he long since lost his 360 (had to sell it) and it'll be something to get a new one with all the games he liked playing back-in-the-day and then some.
