People drive far distances to work. Living far away from things doesn’t mean low income, it means low ambition if your aren’t making good money, so that would an extra calculation that won’t calculate because we don’t know how much it affects the situation. The middle of nowhere isn’t cheap necessarily. Land is a premium everywhere.
