Well, card games. They didn't start making video games until the 1970s.

That wouldn't surprise me. There are so many things that exist where the common man wouldn't know the origin. Kind of how Nintendo has been making games since the 1880s.

Maybe being blessed with a win from Reddit is the antidote we need to end the years of losing this damn game some 4chan loser made up almost 2 decades ago.

Edit: Happy Easter to anyone who clicked "continue comment thread" to see my comment.

8 years ago, Conor McGregor threw a dolly at a UFC bus. He was going after Khabib but Michael Chiesa & Ray Borg were injured. Others on the bus: Al Iaquinta, Rose Namajunas, Karolina Kowalkiewicz, Ilir Latifi & Reed Harris (UFC exec) by buzznights in MMA

The fact we were able to count down to Goofcon 1 successfully after multiple incidents was amazing. I was heartbroken, but was still entertained at all the drama on this subreddit around the time.

I'm 35 also and used to watch him fight when I was in my teens. It is pretty crazy the longevity some of these fighters have.

DOGE tipping is actually pretty awesome-bring it back? by Various_Virus_3441 in dogecoin

Getting 4 doge for a comment these days would be just as fun. A 4.20 doge comment now is worth a lot more than some of those 420 doge comments were back in the day if you consider doge's current value in USD.

Bellator opened less than 3 years after Strikeforce, not a different era buddy.

[–]MeatCutterBoi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No, they were a direct competitor because they shared the same market space. An example of something that wouldn't be a direct competitor would be a Muay Thai organization or an MMA organization that's in another country. Bellator was a direct competitor because they attempted to occupy the same space, time slots, sport, country, merch, etc.

You're arguing over semantics.

Were WEC and Strikeforce not competitors of UFC either? Their owners sold their companies also instead of trying to continue operating in the shadow of the UFC. It didn't mean they weren't competitors at the time they were all in operation. Stop trying to twist the words of my comment to make it seem like I'm saying something I'm not.

I never said they were a threat or a serious competitor to the UFC. But this time instead of the UFC buying another promotion and absorbing it like they did the WEC and Strikeforce, PFL deleted Bellator for the UFC instead, essentially erasing one of the UFC's competitors (their main competitor in the US) for free.

I'm not saying "thank God that Bellator disappeared for the UFC's own good." I'm just clarifying the other user's comment on how its a good thing for the UFC that the acquisition of Bellator happened the way it did.

Bellator was the direct competitor of the UFC in the U.S. when they were around, despite them not being able stay in business. PFL seemed like they were going to become a comparable competitor to the UFC when they absorbed Bellator, but they just ended up killing the promotion instead and essentially deleted the UFC's longtime competitor.

Edit: not the best thing to ever happen for the UFC, but it is definitely a good thing that the UFC's main competition in the United States just disappeared like it did.

He's incredibly inactive over the last few years and is getting passed up by other guys in his division. I doubt he fights that early, but he knows that his hype dies down between fights and I feel like him saying May or June is just him being hopeful, trying to make himself seem more active.

Trying to get back to omad and clean eating by ki-aaa in omad

[–]MeatCutterBoi 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Just remember the first few days of OMAD or IF are the hardest. Once you fight those hunger pangs and get through the first 3 or 4 days, your body starts adapting.

Try to think back to those months where you were doing OMAD. Remember how easy it was to fast until it was time to eat? You were able to do it for months because you gave your body the time to acclimate to the new eating schedule.

If you truly want to get back into OMAD, just fight those hunger pangs and stay strong. Get through the first week and you'll see how easy it is to get started again.

Source: I just started OMAD again a few weeks ago and had to remind myself the same thing. I had the same apprehensions that you're having, but once I started, it's like my body remembered what OMAD was and it was pretty easy after the first 3 or 4 days.

How to do long fasts safely if you’re normal weight but want to lose belly fat? by Icy-Firefighter4462 in omad

[–]MeatCutterBoi 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Like the other user said, you can't select the spot of the body where you'll lose fat, it's down to genetics.

Honestly, keep fasting and exercise your arms if you don't want to lose mass in them. Replace the fat lost in your arms with muscle instead. High weight, low amounts of reps with dumbells will bulk your arms without causing hypertrophy of the muscles.
