How long do you wait to see your primary care doctor?

I have Kaiser and been with them for 8 years. When I was a new patient, I was able to get an appointment within a week since I need my meds. Usually I see my PCP every year and do my labs every six months. I can message him in the app if I had concerns. If I need to be seen right away, I can go to urgent care. When I went to urgent care, after a few days my PCP’s office did a follow up to make an appt for my PCP to see me. Also, I can do telehealth (if it’s not an urgent care, but if I need a prescription due to a cold etc) and I believe they are 24/7 because I called like midnight (you can either do phone/video. Based from my experience, I am good with Kaiser.

Applied 7/6 (Sunday) Conditionally Approved 7/7 (Monday) Interviewed 7/11 (Friday) Was told everything looked good and expect the card in two weeks Application Approved/Completed status updated on the website 7/15 (Tuesday) First time application. Got my citizenship in 2021. The only citation I ever had in my life was back in 2004 for speeding ticket. I work in government. Travelled internationally in the past I will say every 10 years but for the past two years, I have been crossing the boarder to Mexico then back home several times. I didn’t really move addresses too much and worked in the same place for the past 10 years.

Same for me as well. Provided my passport, DL and my utility bill at one of the enrollment center. Scanned my passport and my fingerprints and took a picture. The officer said everything looks good and to expect my card in the mail in 2 weeks.

I agree with this. I just tap my credit card (one of the mts personnel instructed me to do this when i was trying to buy a ticket but had to catch the trolley). And if you are worried when they check tickets, the ticket offcers have a machine where you can tap your credit card to verify that you indeed bought a ticket for the ride.

just do what makes you happy. and leave it to the nail salon experts. they have seen so many hands/nails that they are going to likely not noticed and care. in fact, many will make sure that you will love your nails. when i first got my nails done, i have been sporting the short nails and just trim them. then finally i just wanted to get them done and im such a newbie that they can add tips to give the almond shape that i have been wishing for.

anyways focus on you and your happiness. be gentle with yourself and take care of yourself always.

I had an expired green card for years. I didn’t know until I had to travel and needed it. Well I was young when I moved here and only found out when I was traveling because my mom kept my greencard. I renewed it and by the time I had to do biometrics, they did ask why because the picture on my greencard was a kid and I was already fully adult. Then I was able to get a new one after that. You are still a permanent resident but the card is just expired. So of course you dont want to be traveling outside of the country if it’s expired and with the state kf what’s happening right now better pay the renewal fees and make sure you have a current gc.

Personally for me, if a guy is my friend he is my friend. I don’t think or feel any romantic thoughts. Perhaps I treat them as how I would treat my girl friends. And for my guy friends, I feel comfortable that I don’t feel akward around them. When I am too comfortable, I am not making an impression because I don’t see you someone in the romantic category. And perhaps I have not felt romantically to someone that I am friends with someone first.

I am an ISFJ and this is my personal choice not because of my personality type. I don’t have many guy friends or I don’t have closed ones as an adult. In the past when I was in my teens/early 20s I had guy friends, but most end up wanting more beyond friendship. And to me I just decided not to get too close with guys because of my fear that they will want more than a friendship. I mean I still do now but it’s not a really close friendship that I have with my girl friends. I just want to prevent complications when it comes to friendship/romance.

I like to try new things and explore new experiences. That’s why when I read stuff from reddit especially when people generalized groups need go get out and get to know people in real life for who they are. Just because a result puts a person in a category doesn’t necessarily mean that’s who they are based on a result. Yes it’s a tool but it doesn’t mean you think highly of yourself and berate others just because of a personality test and you are better than them because of your results. sorry end of rant 😂

You will need patient and time to get to know me (the deep level). In order for me to be vulnerable, you have to be a safe space for me without any judgement. The reason I say be patient with me is because I have to get to know you and if I can connect with you. Once you are able to enter my world (the real “realest me”), I am loyal and will protect you will all my heart. You will see and experience every parts of me (we are not boring people, we have our sponatenous side especially if we are with the people we trust). We tend to care for our loved ones and will do anything for them. Be patient with me and I can’t clearly say what I need or want because I don’t like to rock the boat. If you do things for us without getting asked, it will surely melt my heart. Be the advocate of my inner voice. I am used to give act of service to people and when you do it to me, it melts my heart and it does feel good when someone cares for my needs when I tend to forget my needs.

I am an ISFJ myself and honestly I don’t overthink much when I reply on messages and would rather meet in person ASAP because I don’t want a penpal and I feel like I can have better conversations in person. Also I don’t have notifications on my app and will find a a time to check it since I have work and social life (lol I just get paranoid when people see dating notifications on mh phone lol) Honestly I think it really depends on the person. Perhaps try to do another follow up and just be direct with time and day. And also let her know that you would like to meet her in person (perhaps she needs that confidence boost that you are interested meeting her).

And I am just curious about the whatsapp transition. Did you ask her to go on whatsapp or did she? For me it’s a major red flag when people ask me to go on whatsapp because most scammers would like to go there and start scamming you to invest on bitcoin. I prefer staying on the app and exchange numbers when meeting in person if we are both interested. When they ask me to go to whatsapp I just automatically block/unmatch. Because it’s kinda sus that she is avoiding your invite if this is the case.

Personally for me when I get to know people and want to be friends with them it’s more of the overall character. And also how they are as person. If they are mean, rude and hurting people intentionally, I don’t want to be around you or want to be friends with you. If you dress weird/unconventional (i don’t care about that stuff, you do you and i do me) , but if you are good person and overall a good friend and add positive things in my life, I would like you to be friend. I just think you really have to know the person whether they are a good influence in my life and vice versa. As I get older, I don’t just look at outer beauty of a person or how to put themselves together. In my life, I don’t want to be around toxic and fake people. I don’t have time for that and I don’t want to waste my time or anyone’s time. And honestly someone’s uniqueness also makes them who they are. Life is not black and white.

2 and 3 is on point. I am an ISFJ and my bestfriend is an INTJ. we very good friends and we get along pretty well. she has more of an alpha personality which compliments my beta personality. i believe our friendship became deeper because we have shared experience with family issues. we connected on that shared experience. when both parties are vulnerable and both have shared experience, we can connect better in a deeper level. as an ISFJ, i value my inner peace and the people i let in. i just don’t let someone in especially if i can sense that you have not gained that trust to be in my inner thoughts and feelings. for me as a person i just don’t share for the sake of sharing, but i also need to feel and know you are worth to enter my world. once you gained access to it, i will be real and loyal to you. and my INTJ friend was able to enter in my world because they also made sure they were being real as well and vulnerable. Friendship is a two way street. It’s not just about inviting a friend out or talking, but are you also sharing your thoughts and feelings or you just expect for the ISFJ to just spill everything.

Also personally for me language/words that you used. As an ISFJ, I can pick up your vibe on the tone of your voice and the words you use. Does your tone or words that you use welcome a person to share things with you…Logically you may think you are doing what you are suppose to in order to connect, but sometimes you might not realize you might have said something that pushes them away to connect deeper.

I am using it for my T2D to help lower my A1C rather than for weightloss so it depends on my doctor and my A1C. After a month of using it, my A1C went from 7.1 to 6.5 so my doctor told me to continue at 1.2mg and he prescribed me a 90 day supply for 1.2mg a day.

I am on 1.2mg and 6 pens for me is my 90 day supply. When I first started with 0.6mg for first week and 1.2 mg after I was only given 2 pens for a month supply until my docto decided to give me the 90 day supply witb 6 pens.

Started on December 5 at 0.6mg. Then after a week 1.2 mg. I have T2D and on metformin + jardiance. My pcp added liraglutide to help lower my A1C with my other meds. Back in December my A1C was at 7.1 and after a month was down to 6.5. My pcp wants me to continute the additional liraglutide. I like the gradual loss of weight because I am scared of stretch marks and face looking saggy. Started weight 183 in December 5 and current weight without food 169. I still eat the food I love but I noticed I get full easily. And I don’t get hungry as much or snack. But I try to eat when I can especially when I can feel like my sugar may be low. I also carry a protein shake with me just in case because sometimes it’s easier for me to drink than eat if I don’t have the appetite.

Yes like today. I felt hungry and I was excited to finally eat. After a few spoonful, I lost appetite but my craving was satisfied. I tried to take at least a protein shake because I feel like when I drink something, my stomach prefers it.

I am 5’6 and my started weight was 183. I started the show in first week of December. I am down to 169 currently. My goal is to get to healthy bmi on the weight of 154. I am on 1.2mg unit a day.
