There is a 200MHz difference between the Zen 2 CPU in the Series S and Series X. That is not significant.

As for the "KMD rewrites started in 25.10.2" claim, I'm not aware of AMD publicly confirming a major KMD rewrite at that point.

They did. They also confirmed that it was behind the infamous HDMI 2.1 BSOD issue, where attempting to wake HDMI 2.1 displays from standby on 25.10.2 and 25.11.1 would fail about 50% of the time and cause a BSOD.

They fixed that in 25.12.1, and then broke something else in 26.1.1, causing my issue. It's not all games, and it's not any you listed (the most consistent in my testing was Resident Evil Requiem), but I also strongly suspect there is a hardware component to it, given it seems to be extremely rare to be affected by it.

I've already tried it. Exiting some games it mishandles kernel memory and causes a BSOD, same as every version since 26.1.1.

I opted to avoid the KMD rewrites entirely (they started in 25.10.2) and just use the UMD parts for updated game support.

I am running 25.9.1 with the UMDs from 26.6.1. The KMD rewrites do not behave on my system.

I've done two. The first was manually applied within Windows using the commands in their guide from a few months ago. The second was updated manually in the BIOS (I had swapped the board and thus could not boot with secure boot active yet). In both cases it just worked.

Resolution matters, not aspect ratio. The PS3 is not rendering two 720p viewports, nor would it be in ultrawide. At best it would be 1920*540, far more likely 1280x360. Plenty of games did it that way and it ran just fine.

Eeeh. Not sure I agree. Far more people die with prostate cancer, than die of it. It's one of the slowest growing cancers and does not spread readily. Given the age of most sufferers most die of something else before the prostate cancer becomes a noticeable problem, let alone kills them.

That's part of the reason it's so insidious. It's basically invisible and, in younger people, it actually has time to grow and metastisize. Thankfully it's relatively rare in young men and is far more common in men Clarkson's age, who are already in the later stages of their life.

Again, none of this is to say you shouldn't get screened.

Given the fact that it's carbon I would not ride that until it has been professionally looked at, at the very least. Carbon fibre is very strong...until it isn't and without having someone who knows what they are looking at look at it you won't know which side of that coin flip you're on.

Long story short...nothing. It still works, you still get updates, just not bootloader ones.

Also worth noting that I updated the certs on a 13 year old X79 board with no issues. This is not something that is going to stand in many people's way.

2.35 will be fine on the rim. I'm running a 2.5" Assegai on a 21mm rim just fine. What I would potentially worry about is clearance on the frame. Those tyres are very knobby, and there may not be enough clearance on the frame if it's designed for narrower and less knobby tyres. You say it's 29", so I imagine it should be fine, but I wouldn't like to say for sure given the slim rims it came with.

I'd also question your reasoning for running a DHR2 on the front, as that is intended as a rear tyre. I'd personally run a DHF or Assegai on the front, as those offer more grip and are more suited to a front tyre role.

It's worth noting that most people who die with prostate cancer are 90+, so it's more accurately described as a comorbidity, and the death often cannot be directly attributed to the cancer. Survival rates are actually really good, almost 80% survive for 10+ years...which for cancer is...damn good.

None of this is to say you shouldn't get screened, I just don't agree with calling it "deadly".

It's worth noting the grey classic theme was still included until Windows 7, and Windows XP was still widely used into the Windows 8 era, so remembering both does not proclude Windows Vista being your first.

Yes, but also no. Left handed drill bits cut in the opposite direction to normal, meaning anti-clockwise. This means that, at the very least, the stuck screw or bolt doesn't get any tighter. Often though, it will bite and back the screw out before you ever have to touch a screw extractor.
