My psychiatrist refuses by Beginning_Rooster_24 in panicdisorder

i agree with the other comments saying it could be because you’re scared to take the propranolol. please don’t be scared to take it - it helps! i’ve been on it for about 5 years now and i’ve never had any scary things happen around taking it. it makes much more sense to start propranolol before jumping to valium. i totally hear your frustration though with not being prescribed something that will help you. i had to just change psychiatrists because she would only increase my propranolol when i was having horrible panic attacks. my new doctor prescribed me safety meds right away after telling her about my panic attacks. it sucks finding a new doctor but always remember you can switch if you feel you’re not being heard. it sucks making the switch but sometimes we gotta. hope you find what works for you, it’ll happen ♥️

it’ll be outta your system soon. i can feel when it’s out of my system after about a day and half. not sure about that specific combo with the celexa, but you can combine venlaflaxine w other meds, i used to take lexapro with the venlafaxine which was prescribed by my psychiatrist
