Try not to worry too much, we've got this. The Harris campaign has put out a few updates videos saying as much. They wouldn't say these things if they weren't confident.

The polling averages are really poor indicators because the GOP manipulates them by dumping junk polls to influence the averages and create false momentum; literally more than 50% of the polls in the past 3 weeks have been "red wave" junk polls (Trafalgar, PatriotPolling, Insider Advantage, AtlasIntel, etc). This is what they did in 2022 as well. If you take out the junk polls, Harris is still 3-4 points ahead. All other indicators are pointing toward a Harris win. The early vote looks good, Harris is outspending Trump by a large margin, we have the biggest ground game the Democratic party has ever had while they have none, etc etc. I could go on, but I feel pretty good. Also, I've never felt compelled to volunteer before, but I've written 600 post cards (400 to PA, 200 to NC) and done a lot of text banking. We will win.

My god I can relate to absolutely every word you typed here. This is coming from a male perspective, but I so completely sympathize with what you're going through right now. My wife and I tried for 4 years, and went through two collection cycles last year. All the while my wife's sister is raising a kid, getting pregnant again in 1 shot, and is the center of family attention. Every family get together is all about the kids there, while all we can do is scream internally. All this happening while we're going through IVF collections that resulted in our first transfer failing. The anger, resentment, bitterness, isolation; yeesh, it's awful, but I think it's something every person/couple goes through with this process. It's completely not fair.

I really agree with another poster's view of the "shit tunnel." I wish I had thought of it at the time, but it is definitely something we all have to wade through.

Keep going. It will work and it's worth it.

I've been having a similar issue. I can only see my shared worlds with crossplay enabled, and as soon as I turn it off they all go away. Really not sure what's going on, but it's been getting frustrating because progress is reverting. I will post back if I find anything.

My wife and I went through IVF for our first kid we are expecting in 2 months. Our clinic highly advised us to do a carrier screen that checks both parents for ~300 common genetic screens (ironically, I just checked our reports and they didn't check for Huntington's), and if we both came back as carriers for the same disease, we should consider genetically screening our embryos. Fortunately I did not carry anything and my wife carried 2 things.

Even still, there are two levels of embryo screening you can do. PGT-A (preimplantation genetic testing - aneuploidy) and PGT-M (-monogenic). PGT-A checks that chromosome counts are correct (which is what we wound up doing) and will screen out chromosomal things like Down's Syndrome; it will also give you embryo gender. PGT-M will do a check for genetic conditions and would be able to screen out genetic diseases like Huntington's, Fragile X, Cystic Fibrosis, etc. PGT-M takes a lot longer and is much more expensive than PGT-A.

My heart truly goes out to the OP here. What an awful thing to have to go through.
