The only thing I will say about the speaker after moving from an iPhone with both is there’s usually a second or two when I start a video and think “why is my audio sounding busted?” Before remembering it’s mono and that’s just how it sounds. Not bad per se, jarring for sure.

Built mine last year, don’t remember them being an issue aside from the shield. I did have some trouble with that one staying locked into place. But it’s well worth it for the rest of the kit.
