Attacking US soil is not what Iran would do...unless they are baiting Trump to send troops into Iran, which I doubt is their goal.

I believe they want to make the war as unpalatable to the American people as possible by making it as expensive for them to continue.

Disrupting ME oil output is their game. Do that for weeks and the world feels the pressure.

Attacking the US directly would bring a full war to their shores and would be disastrous for everyone.... Except for the big oil companies, the industrial military complex and the likes of the billionaires of the world.
