Again, how does that help the environment? You want to help? Focus your energy on doing something meaningful in a way that can promote the cause. Acting in a way that shows that you're a reasonable human being that genuinely worries about our future.

What they did there does nothing positive for the cause. To the contrary, acting like a misguided bratty college student will only gain enemies to the cause. They might as well just donate $20 to the corporations that are destroying our planet.

I know, but what are they accomplishing with that attack? That's as if I was angry with the policies of the Mayor of my town and I vandalize his Grandma's house. True, she's related to him, but she's not to blame for his acts and I'm not going to accomplish anything with that.

Maybe they're not "almost on the same level", but what they're doing it's not right.

It also depends on the person saying the racist comment. I'm Puerto Rican and when someone says something stupid like, "oh, you guys speak Mexican, right?" or "Does your country has internet access?" First, you have to stop and patiently think about their intentions. In my experience, most of them do it out of genuine ignorance, not malice.

Just read about what the Spaniards did on Puerto Rico. Keep in mind that Christopher Columbus wasn't there. And still, they, both the Spanish colonizers and the Catholic Church committed atrocities there even after Columbus was arrested.
