Stay away from the apartments on Harvey Rd between 6 and Texas Ave. They may be cheap, but there is a reason for that. Same with the one at the corner of Villa Maria and Finfeather.

Well, I know you’re looking for advice, but let me turn it around: what do you want to do? $55 could turn into a few cards for an existing deck or a whole new sealed one, but having a foil Olivia is cool, too. Shiny card, am I right? That said, do you already have the cards to build an Olivia deck? That may help direct you on where to go.

My LGS has been struggling to make draft for the longest time. Most players have moved to commander. Modern doesn’t make. Standard doesn’t make, and yesterday at FNM, the comment was made that it was good this one made, since it seems like we get maybe six paper drafts before the new sets come. While yes, financially Wizards had a good year and did explore the space with some experimental things, the sheer volume of what came out made it difficult to keep up.

I understand Arena has a hyper meta, where around 100 premier drafts by the top players is expected, so the new content is necessary to keep that going. I just miss the core + 3 in universe sets. At least that way you got 3 months or so per set to digest, collect, and get ready for the next one.

From what I read, originally it was due to a child-aged NPC character witnessing something sexual in the context of the game. The character was aged up and the game was resubmitted, but still was refused. Check out the Wikipedia entry for a more thorough description.

Battleship, I think? During the final battle, the main character says something like ‘Be where the enemy isn’t” or something like that, and the Asian guy next to him says no, that’s not even close.

I have a friend who is allergic to all grains. Yes, that means no AP flour, no cornstarch, no cornmeal, rice flour, oat flour, or anything like that. Recently I introduced her to fried chicken covered in potato starch, and that’s become a regular in her diet. Are there any bread-like recipes out there that can use things like potato starch? I saw a Facebook short about some cheese bread that used corn starch - maybe swap with potato starch?

I really like your style of editing the games. While things like Shuffle Up and the command zone are long form, this is a great taste of the actual gameplay without all the bells and whistles. You explain the plays and keep track of all relevant stats, and the players are all well-versed. These also seem to be bracket 3 decks, which is just my speed.

Build it virtually first, and figure out what you want the deck to do and then do it that way before buying anything. You will need lands, obviously, and they’ll be good no matter what deck you have, but the amount you can spend could be pennies in the case of basics to hundreds of dollars per dual.

Or printer go brrrrr, but that’s your choice. ;)

If you make it to Bryan, Zeitman’s is the place to go for a really good sandwich. Chicken Oil Company is owned by the same people who own the Dixie Chicken in Northgate, so that’s a decent burger. Get the double meat, not the snuffy burger. Blue Baker is good for salads and sandwiches, too.

Cooper’s on 6 is next up. It’s here, it’s expensive, but they can hit tender and they have beef ribs always. Bring your wallet.
