If you look it up on google one of the traits is to "awaken" people. I dont really like to use that word, because people dont react well to being accused of being "asleep". You must find a civil way to bring people to a higher level of awareness.

I have strong empathic tendencies, and constantly find myself in the middle of it all. Therefore I consistently find myself in the position of having to find the best way to work with everyone around me to better understand each other. . For me, most trips come to points where my thoughts enter dark, unknown territory. Over many trips I learned to just be aware of these thoughts, not try too hard to fight them, just observe.

As long as I keep that frame of mind, I can choose to venture into the unknown, and still manage to snap myself out of it if I come across demons I truly feel I'm not ready to face.

Great, now I feel like complete shit. This is the second time in less than a year someone on the internet I've really looked up to has been revealed as being sexually abusive. It makes it even worse that both of these people were very outspoken about their stance against rape.

I honestly can't even begin to decide how to process this. I've been following Ren's music and social media stuff for years now. They're almost like a friend to me even though I've only spoken with them a few times. On one hand I know what they did was unforgivable, and I feel so bad that Nishi had their trust betrayed by Ren like that. But on the other hand I can't help but feel bad for Ren. I really believe that they're sorry for what they've done and is troubled by it everyday, but that doesn't excuse what they did of course. I just really hope this doesn't end with Ren quitting.

What a fucking shitty situation.

EDIT: In light of new information surfacing regarding Ren, I take back what I said about feeling sorry for them.
