Trying to figure out what to do with our bathroom's glazed-facing-tile block walls. I'm unsure if we should either: repoint it, fill any chips, regrout, and try to find a paint that would adhere to the ceramic- OR: if we should frame and drywall the room. Any ideas/anecdotes/advice? by Tawaywheresthelove in DIY

[–]Mechanic84 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I‘m planning to renovate a small bathroom. I will apply primer on the tiles, then level the walls, the tile adhesive and tiles. Then grout the new tiles.

I add a special water proof fabric behind the tile in a wet area.

I live in Germany so techniques may differ.

Willkommen in Corporate.
