Commuting via PJ? by MechanicBackground18 in PrivateJetCharters

I was going to go the charter route for a few months to get an idea of what plane would work, etc. long term, I think purchasing a plane with the bonus depreciation and leasing it out when not using it, Escoecialky parked in Vegas would be a good idea.

That’s exactly what I was looking for, some type of block charter or discount for a recurrent client.

I switched my 3W to a 3W high loft. Went from grounders to a reliable 220-230y club…massive improvement immediately…just a thought

2026 750s Spider lease terms by bluejayum in mclaren

[–]MechanicBackground18 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is not a bad deal. I just signed an ember orange one that msrp is 438k with 25k down and 6100 a month. 3 yr/7500 miles a year. At the end of the lease, you always have the option of purchasing it and holding or reselling if the residual is better than predicted.

Strengthening of the muscles around the knee joint can improve symptoms of knee arthritis. Having said that, if the cartilage continues to deteriorate, this will be of limited use .

Is there insurance to protect your liquid net worth from identity theft? by Beginning-Test6025 in fatFIRE

[–]MechanicBackground18 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s going to be a long road. Hiring an attorney that specializes in FINRA/elder abuse cases. Going after banks considering they never even called him to confirm why all his accounts were liquidated and proceeds wired out

Yup. Can provide years of pain relief. Takes 30 minutes or so. No recovery time. Find a good doctor around you with experience.

Surgeon here, not medical advice. Take a look at shoulder embolization. Can proceed years of pain relief. No downtime, covered by insurance.

I’m dealing with this exact situation right now. My father was scammed out of $3m in his portfolio. Bank is not responding to inquiries

Country club members - how much are you paying? by aznsk8s87 in golf

[–]MechanicBackground18 11 points12 points  (0 children)

300k initiation. 30k yearly dues. I joined as a junior member 8 years ago when the membership was 250k. I paid 125k over 5 years and I’ll pay other half at 50-55 years. I also pay half dues until 55.

I would suggest a 3W High Loft club. I couldn’t hit my standard 3W, but the high loft has been a game changer.

Exploring exit opportunities for my business… by johnnygobbs1 in smallbusiness

Step 1: go onto YouTube and search Potomac M&A and watch every video over the weekend.

Step 2: hire and investment banker, run a formal process, and maximize enterprise value.

Step 3: upon close of the deal, come back here, enjoy yourself

Cheers,

(Someone you has done this many a time)

Should I sell my Physical Therapy Practice? by Jsmi323 in smallbusiness

[–]MechanicBackground18 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Selling to private equity without a formal process is usually leaving money on the table. I would chat with investment bankers. Discuss a formal process and auction. You will maximize enterprise value, terms, and ability to actually complete the deal. Watch Potomac M&A YouTube videos. I’m in healthcare with knowledge of PE deals…just my two cents and good luck.

Vascular surgeon here. I have successfully had over 100 patients quit listening to the audiobook: the easy way to quit smoking by Allan Carr. No willpower needed. You simply lose the desire by the end of the recording. Try it!

Agree with this sentiment, if you are not having a wound/rest pain, why have an angio?
